does look great and all that but one problem again where is the closed mouthplate? That's the one I want to see it really displayed with.

I have the chair version ordered with a UK site Collectiblekitbash. It had been my intention to cancel that and order both the regular and the chair version with Timcent. But now with the totally unexpected early release of the T-800 I guess I'll keep that CK order of chair Robocop, assuming they'll get it a good bit later. The usual UK delay is suddenly of benefit.

So you reckon this guy will be released this week then? Please god!

Unlikely.

Big forehead T1 is out this week, I don't think I've ever seen two figures being released this close except for "limited exclusives" (that are really not limited anyway)

it's not inserted correctly

it looks like whoever set it up didn't know what they were doing, you can even see the gap on the sides where it should set flush

Yeah, but the helmet looks like it's as far down as it can go.

What if it's a case where they put them in correctly and they just don't fit and jut out regardless? It happened with the Batman figures. DX 12's face looked like it was going to pop out no matter how hard you pushed the mouth in. Even DX 09 Batman had an issue with the upper portion of the faceplate jutting out.

The backs of the faces do look pretty thick, it might be a case of the production figure's faces just not fitting in there snugly.

If that faceplate was moved down lower so the chin was in the strap, like we think it should, there would be a gap at the top of the mouth where the upper lip meets the helmet.

I'm sure it's the lighting. It's probably a proto being pictured too.

I'm trying to remain positive, god damn it.

Those faceplates look goofy as hell. I don't care though - as long as the neutral one turns out OK!

They look goofy because they're supposed to capture RoboCop's anguished, pained, "I'm gonna drop a deuce in my titanium pants" look.

I don't think this is the proto, the one at SDCC 2013 was the proto, the mouth looked more pale. See the photo below. I think the one from STGCC is a production piece. It has those tiny tabs on the shoulders, which the proto did not have.

Surely they can't put the figure out where the face plates didn't fit the head
That would be like releasing another ed209 with a rubber dome
I'm confident this figure will be epic

Oh the horror if this figure comes out a broken mess.
