I just got mine from Alter Ego and the figure face was rubbing all over the front clear plastic tray cover and all the accessories were rattling around in the box. Worst of all the right Bicep armor is missing! I check inside the shipper, inside the original product box, nothing. I called Alter Ego and they say they sold out and have no more. I dont think Worldbox did a good job in the design of thier packaging, seems the parts can get loose very easily.

That's really disappointing, roc. What are you going to do?

I feel your pain. I, too, ordered from Alter Ego and am missing one of the bicep armor pieces. Even worse yet, there's a little spot with no paint on the head piece that may or may not have been caused by the horrible packaging.

I must admit that I picked up two of these guys and was able to put together one completely satisfactory set. I'm still waiting to hear back from AlterEgo about the head piece and missing bicep armor. Did they say they were going to assist you with resolving the issue or are you taking it upon yourself to contact WorldBox? I spoke with Josh on the phone who requested pictures of the head piece and said he/they would contact the manufacturer. He may have just said that to subdue my anxiety.

Maybe we can coordinate something with AlterEgo / WorldBox where I send you the lone bicep armor for my 2nd figure to complete your figure's outfit while I wait it out.

Hey Rudy, Thanks for the offer. I went ahead and bought a pair of armor from Monkee depot, so as it turns out I will have an extra left Bicep armor. If you need that I can send that your way once the Monkee Depot ones arrive. I spoke to Josh as well, and he didn't really instill much confidence that anything can be done other then returning the figure back to them full refund.

But yeah the packaging was not great, I see Blue scuff marks on the plastic sleeve, but inspecting the head I don't see any rub marks, so probably it only took off some highlights.

Other then those issues and the legs loose at the knees, its a great figure. I was surprise at how much better the head looks proportion wise, then when I see it on pics online. On all the Online pics his head looks huge, but in hand it looks good.

Glad to hear you're getting the problem resolved. I hope AlterEgo is offering you a partial refund to cover the cost of of the bicep armor pieces. They contacted me to let me know I had the option of a $15 refund if I kept the item or a full refund w/ paid shipping if I opted to return the item. I'm opting to send it back as it seems like it's going to be more of a hassle than it's worth to get the problem resolved on my own.

I realize that some of the more seasoned 1/6 figure collectors may find the situation laughable and an easy fix but I'm a self-admitted noob who lacks the audacity to take on such a task at this stage in the game.

The packaging seems to be a widespread problem so hopefully these vendors are giving World Box enough hell to have it resolved for future releases.

So for those who have this guy, considering the issues so far, is it worth it to pick up? I've been eyeing this figure up and my buddy has been asking me for birthday ideas.

I'm in the same boat (minus bday). I've been wanting to pull the trigger!

For me its totally worth it.And to be honest i am not a huge MK fan just a casual but this figure was enough for me to pull the trigger.I guess I got lucky with no issues or missing parts in my box.Great accessories and with the future MK characters thats coming out it looks like you can mix and match fatality parts and heads.

Definitely worth it if the supplier is willing to either inspect or take pictures of the actual figure so that any glaring anomalies can be identified before it's shipped. One can discern if the correct amount of proper accessories is included in the packaging simply by conducting inventory through the display window. Most of the smaller accessories and clothing can be replaced easily and affordably but a dinged up head piece was where I drew the line.

:exactly:

I mentioned before that my figure came with two of the decapitated neck plugs, but no red skull! WOrld box need to address these issues with the final packaging of these figures.... The figure was good apart from some marking on the biceps. It seems to me like the bicep armour had been put on previously and had left marks behind.

It regards as to whether or not you should buy this figure, MOST DEFINITELY! It looks the business, believe me.
