Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Hey can I ask you guyz,is there a 3d version of the Target Ex.?From what I've seen, they only show the regular BD in their advertisements and I really want a 3d digibook!^_^

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

From what I saw, the Target Exclusive doesn't come with the 3D bluray. However the cover is 3D hologram deal that changes from Superman to Zod

yeah, Target only has a regular blu ray exclusive... nothing for the 3D :(

I wanted both but I ended up getting the regular Target version.

Picked up the Wal Mart steel book version today, I gotta say 2014 can't come soon enough! The more I watch the film the more it grows on me. Still feel like the plot was rushed a bit. But overall great Superman movie! Pumped for this figure!

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I'm glad I have two copies of MOS, so when I wear out the first disc from watching it so much, I have a back up.:clap

What the.... I don't even.... :slap

Can't even grasp this as a concept when the only thing touching the disc during playback is a beam of light. :thud:

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Picked up the steelbook today at Walmart. Love this film. Can't wait for the figure to release.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Picked up the Steel Book at WM too....

Movie looks great on Blu...I think the more folks get a chance to see this now that it's on disc and download without all of the hype (good and bad)..the more they'll appreciate what Synder and co have done here. It really is a great take on the whole Superman story.
Just watching it again makes me like it even more....and now I am more than ready to see what Snyder's up to next with this Batman/Superman mash-up....

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Watched this again, wanting to like it so bad.

**** this movie. The only nuggets of goodness are the cast, the Deadliest Catch scene and the childhood flashbacks.

At least I got a rockin' tin case out of it.

The more I watch it, the more I enjoy the raw power that superman posses
This movie displayed it much much more than the 78 version, although the movie isn't perfect, 78 was a more complete film IMO

Would love for a supes vs avengers hulk fight

The special effects are really well done, I'll give 'em that. But the action isn't anything I haven't already seen in THOR or THE AVENGERS.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Bought the blu-ray today and watched it. It's the second time I've seen the film overall and my opinion of it has actually improved. Before I was kind of hovering in the 6.5-7 out of 10, but I'm actually going to bump it up to a 7.5./10. The pacing could still use some work and some things need a little more fleshing out imo. A little more build-up to some of the cool/epic moments could go a long way. In particular the oil rig scene. It's just way too quick. Would have liked to see them build up the danger and tension a bit more. Also, the end after Zod's death is also just way too quick. That third act is just action, action, action for the most part. When it finally ends I think the rest of the movie could have benefited from a few more quieter moments.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Funny how this film really benefits from multiple viewings! I was really, and I mean REALLY disappointed the firs time I watched it.

So many things I expected that weren't there. I remember I positively hated the Krypton part!

And now, I've seen it twice more and start to really like it. I guess that the 3D part is probably one of the reasons, but I've even come to enjoy the krypton parts!

The only things that are still a let down? Unbalanced movie (long Krypton/short childhood/ too much action at the end) and Pa Kent's ridiculous death scene.:lol

Trying to figure out . If you hated the movie the first time you seen it. Why would you go as far as to buy it? :dunno For me I only buy movies that I really enjoyed the first time seeing them. Or movies that I heard were good that I haven't seen yet.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

With Jor-El coming out much sooner than expected, I wonder if Superman is far behind?

Freddie says relax, poor attempt at humor that I'm going to watch MOS frequently.

Hopefully not! A Jor-El without Kal-El is useless!:gah:

... but I'm not too hopefull. I you remember correctly, we've seen teasers of Jor-El before seeing Supes, and obviously, the Supes they revealed was still in prototype phase...:(

... So we may have to wait a little longer. I think that they tackled Jor-El first because they didn't have a new body to build for him!:lecture

While I agree going back to save the dog was stupid, his death showed what lengths they were willing to go to in order to keep his secret. Pa Kent made the ultimate sacrifice for Clark and showed him the importance of hiding his identity..:clap
