Wow. Besides the chunkiness, the figure is totally missing a lot of definition.

If they could fix the cuffs and thin out the thighs and hips it would go a long way in helping the look. Where can we write in to Hot Toys?

The color of the cape and emblem needs to be corrected. also the yellow on the emblem is too bright.

They have at least 8/9 months to finalise and finish the product which they will once in hand everyone will want it

Re: Hot Toys MMS200 - Man of Steel: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

He's still too fat Hot Toys. Please don't show any more photos until you've put him on the correct body. All this is doing is reinforcing my decision not to preorder.

Wow. You people don't give up. I'll see you guys when the figure is released in NINE months. Freaks.:slap

You have a valid point, I'm sure there will be changes along the way

what I do hope to see is the gauntlets being made out of the same material to create the patterns on the side of the body and legs

I'm not sure why they've opted for sculpted plastic gauntlets as they are supposed to be same as the patterns, perhaps this is just for the prototype though

Re: Hot Toys MMS200 - Man of Steel: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Did Hot Toys say for certain they are changing the body for the final product? I'm curious why they didn't just wait until they had a more accurate prototype rather than show something that is quite a bit different from what the final product would be?

Re: Hot Toys MMS200 - Man of Steel: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Man, this must be the 20th Hot Toys figure I have cancelled due to postings with magic pen out-lining the flaws down to the minutiae.

:rotfl

But it's funny that when the figure is finally released, many times after NO changes, many still purchase, funny

Nine months??? You over estimate Hot Toys delivery schedule. With the Metal series in testing phase for Iron Man and Robocop plus Selina Kyle still not in sight after initial March release etc etc. I'm banking June or July next year for this figure. Yep! called it hear first.
MMS200 - Man of Steel 1/6th scale release: 2nd possible 3rd quarter of 2014. Yes this is my challenge for HTs to please prove me wrong but seriously it's not gonna happen.

:exactly:

And actually, it'll probably be more like 12 months––plus.

Seriously.....:slap

Sadly, I think you're correct. I'm going to hold out hope that this will arrive for my birthday at the end of March. HT has always improved their figures over time. And I have no doubt that they will do the same with this one. I am looking forward to seeing this guy on my shelf.

No, but that last pic with Japanese writings shows the figure with much proper proportion, innit? I think it's more of posing issues with them promotional pics. And in those pics we've seen from PE and stuff the figure looks much more accurate apart from the waist and thigh area. I think the bigger problem is in detailing.

I'm not asking for some chest hair, just better definition and better thighs, really.

Re: Hot Toys MMS200 - Man of Steel: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Since One Sixth Bruce has him.at £139.99 shipped

Just ordered from onesixthbruce.

I don't think we'll see the figure until this time next year in the UK, if Hot Toy's release times are anything to go by!!:pfft:

Logo needs to curve inward conforming more to his chest. That way it can catch light better. Right? No? Ok then.

The specs say "newly developed body" meaning that this figure will come with a new body.
