That, and before this year, everything was 10% cheaper at CSC and BBTS initially, which was better than the 5% in SS points. I really never understood that though, why would you be a distributor and a direct-to-consumer retail outlet? You're just cannibalizing your own sales.

They also limited the discount that authorized retailers can give to 8% I believe, which also makes it a bit tough for the retailers to move their stuff.

Well it's the reason they feel like it justifies that price tag.

Say it's Diecast, slap a $300+ price tag, let the money start rolling in. Smart of them to make Iron Man the first Diecast figure because they well know people will eat it up.

Set the initial bait, let the public eat it up, make a wanted line (Robocop in this case) Diecast and sell it for $300 so that people are accustomed to the price hike by then.

I like those pics as they aren't manipulated. It's just the figure to be scrutinized for what it is. And they aren't as bad as camera phne pcs

The inner elbow joint looks to have a gap, i wanna see (from the on.cc) how big

Judging by the pics and multiple mouths, I'd say no, but the Sideshow description lists "authentic, fully realized likeness of RoboCop" and you can see his eye behind the damaged helmet lense, so who knows for sure.

I find the plastic ED-209 looking more metal (I hope the paint will be the same as on the pics) than the diecast robocop.
