lol, and a Mel Gibson one at that.

Well, pre-crazy Gibson... or was it?

You might be surprised.

Anyway, point is - you have ZERO experience on stuff like this, nor does your source, I suspect. I at least have SOME, and while there are definitely some interesting things going on in this world that you're not privy to, mere speculation - with zero evidence other than a "it COULD happen" mindset - is not sufficient reason to come to a conclusion on such things.
I didn't intend to insult you or anything. I believe you are competent at your job, but I believe the basic issue is that human beings don't change much, and if the government did it once, they will do it again if the incentive is there.
The global illegal drug business is over 300 billion a year. That's a lot more than "a few extra bucks".

I don't see how your can sue over that. It's not discrimination of something out of your control, it's a choice you make. If someone try's to get a job and a Degree is required can you sue the company if you don't have one?

I don't either, but you know there's some litigious person out there looking to make the news and a couple bucks. Remember there's a reason why McDonald's has to remind us that coffee is hot.

Well, to be fair, I think you'd need marijuana to remain sane as a Walmart employee... and high to apply for a job there in the first place.

It's a vicious circle. ;)

Definitely. Like many things I don't have a problem smoking pot as long as they do it responsibly.

Oh, I'm not insulted. I think you've just been misinformed, that's all.

Humans don't change much, fundamentally, but organizations do. The difference between the Vietnam era-military and today is enormous. In fact the changes that occurred are numerous and well documented (Vietnam was a failure, after all). With regards to special forces, especially.

Sure, the drug trade is booming, but my main point is, they don't need it to pay for special forces whatsoever. Such a thing would be an EXTREMELY high risk operation for - while substantial in terms of money, certainly - ultimately an unneeded gain.

Many drugs have remained illegal for far longer than they should have. I think that, like issues of same-sex partnerships (marriage, employment benefits, etc.), these issues are bound to have more and more major changes in law as we move forward. Society has moved on, while the laws are still living in the 1950s.

The government is the reason Bonkers are no longer sold.
Well that does it. I'm gonna send teemu a PM so I can join his anti-government campaign until it is overthrown and restored with a more sensible, pro-Bonkers incarnation. The Declaration of Independence clearly states that we all have the inalienable right to be Bonked out.

The Illuminati were responsible for bringing them back briefly in the nineties, in the bagged, not stick variety. But even they were silenced, eventually.

:lectureIf they do that the new law will come out DUIW...fact...Dont be driving after smoking and get involved in an accident..."All you need is another guy saying "that guy was smoking weed officer"...after the piss or whatever drug testing they do on you if it's positive(even if you didnt just use)you is in big trouble....:lecture...It takes a long time for weed to get out of your system...not like booze...they can find out just with a strand of hair

They had a whole day to fix the spelling errors in that article but didn't bother lol.

By the way I went to a DUI trial once on Jury duty.
Verdict: NOT GUILTY.

If no Accident all you have to do is refuse the test. There is no way to prove it. There was a witness as well following the person.
They left a bar, swerving etc.
Can't prove anything maybe they just drive bad.

Off topic: The officer was so arrogant as well. I could not believe it. Maybe he thought his witness would result in a guilty verdict and didn't care. The Judge was so embarrassed at his behavior and commented on him to us in private

If a person drives that bad sober, they shouldn't be driving at all.
A bad driver can be just as dangerous to the public as a drunk one.
If a person is swerving repeatedly, they need to be barred from driving, period.

In what state?

In most states there is implied consent laws that require you to take the test so you might get out of a DUI but you also lose you license for extended period if time.

:lectureIt didnt work because of rights...If we wanted to we could do it physically...laws in this country especially protect many aholes as well as good guys...I say make drugs a terrorist act and go after all the countries that produce em...we all know who they are...we have satellites and technology that show us...Bring some navy seals in and burn them all down in their countries...kill as many as you can...plus we know who all the kingpins are in these countries.

The U.S. is pissing everything away in Afghanistan right now and NOTHING good is coming from it.

So why not make some goood come out of it, by Destroying the poppy fields? 90% of all the worlds heroin comes from there, that would be a good way to get rid of heroin, but then of course with all the ignorant people there, famers will declare jihad and fight troops, Taliban will become stronger, blah blah blah.

Not to mention the government are big time drug dealers themselves. Pot is illegal, cops will beat your *** then taze you over a roach in your car. Yet government drug dealers like pharmacies and doctors will give you all the drugs you want. Not to mention those drugs can kill you, AND do kill more people every year then street drugs, or close to it.
