I've always thought The Shadow was underrated. It has a very sly sense of humor, and Alec Baldwin has the charisma turned up to 11. John Lone is great as the villain, his and Baldwin's scenes together are so much fun.

I've always liked that movie (The Phantom from the same era as well). It's a fun action flick. The only nitpick is Baldwin is in full Shadow outfit maybe twice for short periods.

I was giving my actual rating for Pineapple express, I watched the unrated version last night. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use your avatar instead of writing out the title.

I'm sorry. The Unrated version is terrible. The end scene almost ruined the whole movie for me.

Theatrical is where it's at.

I'm sorry. The Unrated version is terrible. The end scene almost ruined the whole movie for me.

Not sure if your serious..? If you hate the unrated version then you hate the movie. I think I read somewhere that the unrated version is a whole four minutes longer. So yeah, those extra scenes completely ruined the F'ing movie.

They do. You left the original film laughing, feeling happy.

You leave the unrated version feeling annoyed, and frustrated. I hate that ending scene. It ruins it. Nothing's worse then an ending that doesn't end.


So yeah. Unrated version is terrible.

Dead Man Down 7-10 Pretty good flick. I was very suprised.

I enjoyed seeing a couple of scenes I haven't watched before, in no way did that experience "ruin" the movie. I get the feeling from your posts that you're a very emotional person. You seem genuinely upset if someone likes something that you don't or has a differing opinion.

I Loved the Shadow also, one of my favorite films. Very well done, ashamed it bombed and underfperformed, i remember it was supposed to be big, but alteast hollywood didnt milk it to death.

Well yes..but not in this case, no. But, I've said it multiple times, don't take me seriously.

The more I watch it the more I realize what a masterpiece it really is. It's not perfect but damn is it close.

Brake - 5/10 - Obscure film that aired on The Movie Channel. Stephen Dorff spends almost the whole film locked in the trunk of a car. I might've given it a 6/10 but it has a predictable ending that doesn't hold up if you spend five seconds thinking about it. Felt like a clone of "Buried" with Ryan Reynolds.

LOOPER with Bruce Willis i give it 8 or 9 just a pretty damn good movie. I recomend buying and watching again and again in looper mode.

What the hell happened at the end of the unrated version . I watched both versions a while back but that's not a movie I watch sober so I never remember much of it. It just feels wrong to watch some movies sober, here is a list of a few that you have to watch ****ed up for maximum enjoyment.

1. Fear and loathing
2. Trainspotting
3. Dazed and confused
4. Pineapple Express
5. Fast times
6. Animal house
7. Pulp fiction


Note if main characters are ****ed up or partying in the movie best to watch it on the same wave length.
