No, that image is what they're meant to look like when the blades are elongated :)

When they're contracted they should be almost entirely inside the gauntlet. Hot Toys and NECA both did it wrong. Check out the final kill in the penthouse scene to see what I'm talking about.

The blades are supposed to be able to lengthen quite a bit...like in p1 when p1 got dutch's head in a lock on the log

add the king willie's skull scene or self-repair scene to see that it's not "almost entirely inside" but "completely inside" :)

The tips are sometimes visible, most of the time not. Movie magic.

Hmm... Interesting...

Going to have to watch Predator 2 again :)

Yes, I remember Jungle Hunters blades elongate... The scene when he's walking towards Dutch, as he is crawling towards the spike trap.

And yes the beginning of the swamp fight scene.

As for Predator 2, they might of had to shorten it in certain scenes to make the scene work...
Awesome photography!!! :clap

Thanks a lot man! :hi5:

I just can't stand when the words "PREDATOR" and "comic" are used in the same sentence... Wait... Oh ****! >_<

^a terrible frustration when something doesn't arrive when you were so sure it would.

Too right. I finished work at 3 today too so I had a couple of hours spare before and after dinner for photos.:gah:

EDIT: Turn's out it's been delivered (it was going to my mums house). Put it down to a lack of communication.:gah: Hopefully the Mrs can pick it up on the way home...

Why not? There's comics of tons of properties, why should Predator be any different? I have quite a few Predator comics from when I was younger and I enjoyed the hell out of them. Predator comics, brah.

Predator...

... Comics.

For the Jungle Hunter there was some serious movie magic involved in the blade length, so I can't fault Hot Toys implementation of those blades (they behaved like how the Classic figure's blades do, but would disappear entirely in scenes where they weren't needed). But with City Hunter, the blades never extended to be super-long as they do on the Hot Toys and NECA figures; they were either entirely or almost entirely inside the gauntlet, or else extended only this much:
