k. well here are the last ones i put up: pretty much done with the workup. still need to weather the shoes more and do the suspenders mod. as previously stated: the body; shirt; tie; shoes; gloves are 2.0. the rest is custom. and the socks are dx01.

@darkavatar: yeah i thought it looked like an adam sculpt, just couldnt tell which. and don't be so modest, it's a great looking sculpt; no way would i trade it out for the 2.0 heads--though if you're intent on doing so, i wont stop you. good luck on the repaint.

TBH when the announcement was released last year is when I was thinking of replacing it, because at the time I thought the Joker 2.0 looked better. However, the recent pictures I have seen of it are making me change my mind and I doubt I will part with it.

here is a link to the last pics i posted of the fig. it's--as i said--an assortment of the custom(pants,jackets, vest) and the 2.0(everything else). i havent had trouble futzing the custom pants to hit the proper place on the shoes, myself.

can't seem to remember if the 2.0 pants are longer tho. will have to pull them out to check before i say anything further.

The entire concept of covering or blacking out a custom head sculpt on on a new release figure is just ridiculous IMO. Post whatever the hell you want. Is anyone over in the Batman thread whinging about the various custom heads, face plates, capes etc?

Nope.

Well it wasn't just because of that it is because the face is in the middle of paint jobs and I am not happy with it right now.

I think that's my old head, right Darkavatar? If so, yeah the paint needs a lot of work. It was shipped out from Adam in pretty piss poor condition, much worse than everyone else's it seems, so I did what I could on it. Adam's sculpts are so soft and have no texture to them though, so it's tough going if you don't have professional painting tools or skills. The hair was even worse.

Honestly, the 2.0 head kills that particular Adam head. I hate to say that because I grew really attached to it, but I guess he didn't try as hard on that one.

How bout on the online weibo? I think some of the sellers have em in hand and ready to ship?

Same with taobao. I've been told this will be a 1300rmb figure and the few that have it "available" are asking a fair bit more than that. I will wait. My guy in town hasn't let me down yet, and we only got Bane last week.

Call me stubborn- I still have questions on the material they used on the coat..looks too plush.........with better tailoring you would have thought it can be shown off better with a thinner material...

will try to post some straight ahead pics tomorrow or over the weekend. wait you mean so you can see the cuff and socks better, right?

Hmm I just got the Joker 2.0 today and have mixed feelings about the normal head sculpt.

Play around with the eyes and angles and whatnot, experiment with lighting and maybe do a little touch-up on the white makeup here and there (mainly under the eyes to get rid of those stupid tears), and you'll start to see its potential. It took me a little while, but after playing around with it it's my favorite sculpt yet.

IDK I am not planning to mod this just yet if at all, so you like this sculpt better than Enterbays?

I must admit though, this sculpt is growing on me.

Even though it is an old sculpt, I can see Ledger in it, granted it looks a bit like a fat Ledger but I can still recognize Ledger. This one by Hot toys is very pretty and does have the Joker expression but I am not sure if it looks like Ledger as the Joker pulling the expression or just an imposter pulling a Joker expression.

However, I can't see anything wrong with the laughing sculpt though, well the hair is a bit short, other than that it looks fine IMO.
