Pressing is actually pressing the fabric in between your thumb and index with force, I'm guessing. Futzing is merely piling and fixing and balancing the edges, sleeves, bottom of the coat... I think :lol

:exactly:

yup, I use a number of things, sometimes an iron is too big to get where you want it.

That's a thing of beauty.
I still don't like the regular head. Be interested to see what you make of it in hand.

I will definitely be pressing the shoulder area on mine, come March. :lol I gotta say, yours looks on par, if not better than the ones that uses the original Kato's. :clap

Well, a poor man's Kato's joker outfit from DX11 :lol

:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl So true!

So you don't use any heat source at all after you hold the iron over it for a while?

Yeah I agree but that is because people did not futz or Iron the coat perhaps as well as Rory did!

I know I am guilty of that! :wink1:

Pressing and fuzting doesn't require ironing. Or if you must, never both at the same time or you'll run the risk of burning your finger/hands:horror

I know this is not the appropriate thread but today is Ledger's day...
one of the best videos, thanks to dean...

Actually I know pressing does not require Ironing but before Rory press's he hovers the Iron over the fabric. That is why I mentioned it.
