Awesome futzing ,hhhaney. I love the holding the cape poses. Those rod hands are perfect for it.

:thud:

That looks really good. I surprised. I thought taking the wire ouot would make it stick out on the sides like a bell shape. . I have a second cape for a custom job Ive been putting off for forever because it's not going to be easy, but I may do this instead if I like what I see. Definitely want more pics.

I didn't only removed the wire, I also removed the inner linning completely. It is now single layered instead of 2 layers.

Cape without the wire looks fantastic! More pics pleeeeeease

I will when I'm back home.

Like I said first I tried to only removed the wire but it still looked too puffy.
So I remvoed the inner lining completely, making it a single layer cape, now it falls and drapes really well.

The only complain I have now is that the interior of the cape isn't black but more of a dark grey.

It works in a static pasue and I can still use the original one for more dynamic pause.

I so want that Batman Begins figure. I think it looks so much better than the DK suit. The DK suit looks too busy IMO. Loved the movie but I like the BB suit better. :)

i never even saw this. drives me nuts my grappling gun sits low :gah: I'm going to have to look in to moving it higher...

Mags - is it possible to move the magnet??

Finally Found a pose I actually like my Batman in. Not static but not too busy...perfect for my taste

Not sure about the tank, but damn dude - that's a badass pose! :rock

And your figure's fine? That was all it took?

Yep. No further problems. :)

I have two capes and might try this...

Would it be possible to remove the inner layer without removing the wire? I like the wire.

Well no, if you remove the lining the wired won't stay in place.

Here's some more pics.

All in all I think it lays better and require almost zero futzing.

So once again I removed completely the inner lining and the wire.

Only complaint is that the inside of the cape is grey but I can live with that.

Yeah, since I have two capes I will most likely do your mod.

Could the inside be dyed/painted black somehow?

Well the dye won't work since it's a synthetic type of material.
Not sure about the paint, might make the cape too thick. Not sure.

THe inner material is a kind of velvet fabric so it will require a lot fo paint to even darkened it a bit.

Seems like you could use a black wash - watered down. Still might make it stiff I guess.
