Berserker turned out fine. Innaccurate but in a funny way preferable the way they did it (except the shrinkage - bigger is better with Predators)

My biggest beef with the HT Berserker ended up being its dreads. Just too thin and short and because of their lack of weight they don't come over his shoulders very well at all.

The dreads and headsculpt were my gripes, but he looks great with his buds -- and I keep him masked 24/7. :D

Ive been in hope for a while at some point down the line a Taylerdurdem kind of guy would start up a thread announcing his new super pred dreads and how many slots he has open for people to buy some from him.

It is sad to see this happen after how awesome Classic was. They did it 90% correct and it turned out awesome but now next release they messed up big time. If HT continue then yes they wont run out of customers as people will still buy but all older customers will no longer buy.

They repainted the armor a little, plus they got rid of the rough texture. The lenses were also colored differently from the prototype.

These are practically what I did not want taken away from the prototype. That and the paintjob. The height shrinkage, don't mind. Mandibles, could care less. But these? Wtf.

Head is small and mask is crooked (especially the jaw bone). Dunno why I have to repeat it :lol

OK yeah the head could have been bigger, the mask wider and it still would have retained the beefy look it has. What I don't like about the other company's sculpt of Berserker is its simply too small. Smaller in fact than the Classic Predator who its supposed to be bigger than.

What other company? :lol

I think i recall them. I bought a 7" falconer figure and i bent the knee once and ever since i couldnt get it to stand without falling over because bending the knee once completely crippled the legs ability to hold itself up. And with the 1:4 Predator after i raised the arms a few times the arms would never raise again without falling back down.

But it doesnt matter because the sculpts are more accurate.

Lucky you. I treat my figures like newborn babies in a cot but it still happened to me.

I trashed my Falconer a while ago after it accidently fell over and the finger nails/claws broke off...but my 19 incher still looks great. Just like when I took him out of the box.

but anyway...<3 HT, etc, etc...

Well when you buy a $15 mass produced toy, you get a $15 mass produced toy. NECA's newer Predator 7" figures are so freaking chinsy! Their Gears of War figures are solid, but that's because they're so beefy, but those baby Preds break waaayyyyyy to easily!

Dammit what did I start. I didn't mention the name and what I said was actually a criticism of one of their works but the fact that it has come up again in a HT thread is still my fault. :slap
