So the Original OC Batman didn't leak? which suggests this won't?
With rubber suits, you're always gonna have the potential for future tears (like "tears of a clown" tears, though I guess "ripping and shredding" tears could also happen). And that's why I wish Hot Toys would stay away from them for good.

As for locking the thread, again, THE FIGURE HAS ALREADY BEEN RELEASED IN ASIA. If the thread offends you so for whatever reason, then don't come to the thread. :dunno

Yeah true but the batmobile cant squeeze between the traffic. Although it can go upside.....

when driving in the batmobile, things like obeying traffic laws, etc should go out the window lol, that machine wasn't built to be driven in a civilised manner :lol

How did you make it through today?

what does this forum have to do with SS having a PPO on a figure? Do these forums control that?:cuckoo:

To make a long story short, Sideshow repeatedly popped in this thread specifically to downplay all the hype that was created by idiots here. They continually bullied Sideshow into releasing stats, announcing release dates, announcing PPO dates, etc. CAhobbit and Sideshow Alex both posted in here repeatedly that this wouldn't be limited and that there'd be enough stock to go around. They were all but ignored and buried by the idiots not believing their posts. So Sideshow did the best with what they had. This PPO was no different other than the fact that idiots were still hyping the figure and caused the site to crash on PPO day in a panic. If you bought into it, the only ones to blame are yourself and your fellow bat-fanatic Freaks. :huh

The last coupla dozen pages prior to a few pages back was essentially a tit-for-tat discussion about how one member felt ripped off by the way SSC handled the PPO. It went on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. The discussion mercifully got back onto discussion about the figure itself via a short detour - but essential circuit-breaker - on gay wrestling. I've still got some gay wrestling gifs up my sleeve - I don't wanna use 'em, but I will if I have to!

Im wondering if the supplier has advised our British companies that even though this item is an 'exclusive', its not a limited edition, our British companies are charging nearly the same as the scalpers on ebay for this figure, am very glad ive ordered through SSC, even with any VAT etc to be added on once it reaches the UK, probably still a lot cheaper than it would be buying it from someone here

The SSC's folks that came on here said it was not limited, even though the site says limited edition? I could see how that would cause confusion.

If Sideshow is the only distributor for North America than it does indeed fit the description of both limited and exclusive.

Just about everyone up here got their figure ordered. So stop complaining please. It's old already. All we heard was _____ing and complaining on how they hope the get this figure. Now they got it and they find another reason to _____. Just shut up already.

:lol

Well said. :goodpost:

No one is complaining. People are bringing up things that could be changed for the better for the next PPO. Companies usually like to hear where they can improve and #1 is a better network infrastructure to handle the streamline ordering without crashing, not loading, and sending out erroneous confirmations with errors.

"I had to wake up two hours earlier than normal just to PO this thing. I could have woken up from a Rip Van Winkle nap and still ordered this thing. I just don't like being lied to and SS definitely played us all. There was zero need for a PPO for this figure."

Sounds like a complaint to me :lol:lol:lol

Perhaps no wild speculations next time then, as that seems to have been the case this time

Pretty sure SSC hates this forum, I know I would based on this thread. The forum pre-2008>post 2008. :lol

I wanted them for the characters not the rarity, but I did fall into the "They're limited thing scare" and ordered both almost to the minute they went for sale. They're still for sale and I feel a little silly I was in such a panic (One of my illnesses), but at least by getting it done early I can go ahead and forgert about it until Oct.

I do feel sorry for the people over seas that can't order from Sideshow US and will have to order from scalphers here. (I do not believe some of these guys on here that claim they're doing someone else a big favor when they're charging them twice what it retails for.) I wonder if Sideshow could list them on the over seas EBAY site (UK) or some thing. I know they'd have to sell them a little highter to cover the extra expenses, but it would have to be better then paying one or two hundred more for them from some guy over here. :dunno

Do you understand the definition of "limited edition?" And Sideshow never said they weren't limited. They said there'd be enough to go around. Stop twisting things to feed your anti-SSC ranting. At this point, it's trolling.

You're complaining. You've been doing it all week long. The only thing that will make this PPO better is lining up the overhypers here and giving them all a good solid backhand, treating them like the hysterical _____es they're acting like, each day, every day, and even PPO day. And I'm calling BS on your "erroneous confirmation with errors" statement. It's automated. I don't see people getting order confirmations with errors in them unless they, themselves ____ed up when entering their account info.
