I'm afraid we'll get this:

I always saw it as cloth. The mini-bust I posted shows it as more of a vinyl looking material (very glossy) and I've been tempted to paint it flat black on more that one occassion.

regular military bdus do not show muscle definition in real life let alone on a 1/6th figure...so we're all on board giving that up?

Uh, yeah. He only looked like that on some of the more cartoony looking illustrations, anyway. Often comic book art (especially on covers) is extremely exaggerated. I'd prefer a more realistic approach.

I don't see what you're getting at. I don't remember if you picked up Snake Eyes or not but that's a perfect example. The shirt could be done the same way as SE's was and they could do loose billowed and bloused pants and the figure wouldn't be that far removed from the original.

people keep talking about the thin pro. my money is on the body on the right being destro

Sideshow ALREADY said they were designing a Specialized upper torso for a Joe figure.

So what about that upper torso is "special?" I see a special abdomen, special neck and special arms, but the torso looks exactly the same as the standard Pro.

sorry. I wasn't real clear. I meant that in addition to the body on the right, which has thicker arms, that they were making doing a "muscular" chest for destro as well. Not a rubber covering, just a simple, more muscular chest designed to be shown off. kinda like the enterbay torso?

If they do that, sculpt decent arms and extend the forearms (they look too short ATM), I will begin replacing all my HT muscle bodied figures with that body. I think a shorter neck on that body would be a good swap for Dutch.
