It's the mouth and a little of the nose from the ToyWorld mod. I also moved the eyes slightly closer together.

I like this custom, but we still have to see the cop joker in person. Sometimes the more I look at this custom I begin to image Regan from the Exorcist.

Like people have mentioned that has to do with the paint scheme but also imo it has to do with the base sculpt of Jet Li. You can see the unpainted one next to the Cop Joker mod, it has A LOT of wrinkles. So it's a combination of the two imo that gives that "Exorcist" feel.

Maybe it's just the paint job, but the Toy World one almsot looks like his face is rotting.

HT may not be a dead ringer, or at least not in the first fully lit shot, but looks much better overall as a human portrait.

Have you seen the concept artwork for the Joker? :horror

Me too. Josh (DarkArtist) said he was going to try and replicate that in 1/6 but haven't heard anything since.

I would really like to see a figure or something like that. Very creepy to say the least. Reminds me of Leatherface because his face almost looks like a mask rather than his face.

It might have worked for an R-rated Joker. The scars not healed together would have made his talking very creepy to look at!

The thing that sucks about the cop Joker is that the likeness is way off...it looks nothing like Heath or the Joker. If your going to market these MMSS DXS DFGFD whatevers to be a higher grade, then at last put the time in the sculpt to make it resemble that said actor/character.

I really don't think the sculpt can be judged yet. The picture yes, it's a ^^^^ty picture of the portrait, bad call on HT's part to lead with that. However, the teaser showed great potential, so until we see see several angles and lighting conditions, I think it's too early too assume the sculpt sucks, this could be a very bad photo of it, could be an off sculpt, but it could also just be poor photography. Way too little to judge from yet. John Connor had a questionable Bale likeness in some photos and undeniable in others.

Wow. I never saw that. Reminds me of Oldman's character from Hannibal mixed with Cronenberg's Decker character from Nightbreed. Would have been interesting to see an f'd up Joker like that, but I'm also glad they didn't go that route. Of course, it is hard to think of much that could have been improved upon in Dark Knight.

I think it was better filmmaking that the fear was in Ledger's actions and words and not his look. He looked like a messed up clown, but his makeup wasn't scary, his psychological tricks made him scary and that's better.

I personally only found Ledger's Joker to be scary one time (during the GNC joker 'home video' demands with the cop). Outside of that, the character had that classic villain charm where he's doing 'magic tricks' and generally sending off vibes that resonate with the audiences somehow, and makes them wish that villain were always on screen. Darth Vader had the same effect for me. I should be scared of this character, but it just doesn't happen.

Was hoping on a newsletter this morning. :(

I prefer the HT over that custom, the custom is too scary and the HT scars are extremely accurate.

I was hoping for another newsletter too. I doubt it since we just got one last week, but I'm holding out hope. They don't usually show up in my inbox until later in the morning, so I guess it's still possible.

I don't get scared easily, but the first time I saw TDK, I found both times he explained the scars to be quite intense, I was on the edge not knowing what to expect, and the characters were scared because they didn't know what he'd do, not because he looked his face was melting off.
