Not the one I have. The shape of the head is off and likeness nowhere as strong as the HT.

Oh, that sucks. I was looking at some online pictures and it looked much closer to the HT version than I originally thought based off that initial photo of the squashed face.

So the shape of the head is still off, as well as the paint apps?

I was just finishing this when you posted. They look close to me, maybe its the lens...

I'm pretty sure that with some purposeful lighting choices I can get those looking awfully close. Saturn is never going to match Hot Toys quality in terms of paint apps, but these came out better than I was expecting, and for the price, these two are unmissable...

Look much better in @Bigbreda ‘s video review :clap sucks that they don’t have the actual Batman logo on the display bases like the Mars Joker has.

I still plan on maybe switching the body to something else that’s a bit more like West’s physique in the show, but definitely not as much of a bummer as originally thought.

I also feel like the paint apps looks quite nice in the video. Much better than your typical 3rd party paint apps to me. Much happier now with the set and love the big box design.

Shame that they changed the stickers on the bases, and also omitted the name plates.

On the plus side, I think this confirms that the shorts are on backwards:

Thanks for posting these. It looks to be a relatively good set considering the price. Also seems to be the “Batoosie” fingers in the set of hands! These are going to be fun to pose.

Robin's cape looks too short to me based on that box image, but it looks corrrect in other images and the same as the Hot Toys original.

I do hope there's some extras around as I missed the PO cut off.

Has that been confirmed?

No.

There seems to be a lot of paranoia that Mars will abandon the project.

However, when did a third party not release something due to a cease and desist? There's ways and means around it. In the past retailers have made Facebook posts saying that to order you have to send them a message, because the item won't be displayed on their site.

Got to love that ingenuity. (y) Perhaps this is a misread on my part, but for all the flack Batman '66 gets from certain people the characters to this day elicit a lot of devotion. As you have rightly mentioned, these specific figures might be getting over played when you consider their actual craftsmanship, but the chance to have and display them is very exciting for many. Me included. I would have to amend my previous comments about Romero Joker as I find the IS Bela Lugosi a better all around product, my excitement to get Romero after 7+ years was making me giddy.:LOL:(y)
