Brilliant :lol

There's another Bear on the other side of that wall - who else has Otomofan helped? (it looked like he was considering climbing back over, whoever it is)
That’s actually victor darthkostis trying to go the opposite direction and escape the ban vacuum of nothingness and get back into the bustling busy highway of forum complaining but Snoop snatches him back at the last second!

I look at my son while he is using tiktok and in my head i’m thinking what will be his cinematic 77 “Clone Wars” moment?

Was it IW when he was 10?

I really don’t know…I just hope it’s not Fortnite lol

This is seriously bad ass i’m in!

This sums it up for me:

1977 ObiWan mutters the words “The Clone Wars”…

Me:

Cut to 2002 AOTC, 25 years after 77, finally “THE CLONE WARS” How was it!

View attachment 635463

Cut to Mando S3 episode 8, 21 years later after AOTC and 46 years after ObiWan said those magical words…”The Clone Wars”

How was it for jye, Khev, Wor-Gar and Sassafras?

Just watched the finale again. Dude it is freaking perfect Star Wars. Now of course nothing will ever touch the magic of watching ANH and ESB cold in the theaters but this 100% fulfilled the dream of seeing the Clone Wars play out and pouring through the pages of Joe Johnston's 1980 ESB sketchbook and imagining what Boba Fett's "Mandalorian" organization must have been like in its prime. I can't believe we finally saw it. :thud:

This is absolutely what the ST (not that I suddenly hate them or anything) could have and should have been. Bo-Katan dueling with Gideon at the end could have easily been the Rey/Kylo Ren of a theatrical trilogy with Din Djarin being the Han Solo character that everyone loves more than the main hero, lol.

They stuck the landing on everything for this episode, including the emotional beats with Grogu saving Mando and Mando saving Grogu. Even the little bits of comedy delivered. And even though I'm sure he learned the move from his dad I still laughed when Grogu did that little "Koska slide" when he rushed to help Mando and Bo-Katan against Gideon, lol. :yess:

Man just a couple short weeks ago I was basically ready to walk away from all new Star Wars "content" after the Mandalorian picnic, Lizzo, and announcement of gender activist Rey movie and then they turn around and deliver some of the coolest stuff EVER. I suddenly want to collect everything from these last two episodes, lol. Gideon, all three Praetorians, I want to army build High Table Stormtroopers, all the Mandos, lol.

It's probably a pipe dream to hope for a HT figure of the black guy from Maverick but he looked badass with his crazy hair and scratched up armor. And Sasha Banks might be the coolest actor currently working in all of SW. Not only did she refuse to bend the knee to Disney's woke overlords but she came through and got to deliver some of the most badass moments on the show.

I also loved the little "family" moment there with Din, Bo-Katan, and Grogu inside his little Force bubble with the fire all around. Not a true family obviously but more of a Ripley, Newt, Hicks type family. And then at the end with Grogu going from foundling to apprentice to son. That's the type of heart that Lucas was always trying to give to the Saga and it was punctuated masterfully here. Just great stuff all around.

Star Wars for me in a nutshell. It's a franchise of staggering highs and woeful lows. When it's bad, it's legendarily bad. But when it's good, it's some of the best sci-fi experiences in existence.

And can I just take a moment to praise Moff Gideon's upgrade? Someone seriously went "let's merge Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Maul into one character."

What a top-tier villain design. Ugh, I'm salivating at the inevitable Hot Toy reveal of this.

With a little bit of Terminator/Winter Soldier super cyborg strength badassery, lol. :drool

It’s crazy just how underutilized “aeriel jet pack” battles are in live cinema no less “aerial jet packs” with an “armada” with a “laser sword” and “laser guns”!

Do we really need to go back 44 years to Moonraker for the last one in cinema!

Jesus H he is perfect.

Vader, Arena Shiny Fett, Gar Saxon, Darktrooper, Deathtrooper and Phasma all combined into one bad ass design!

I was literally thinking about that while watching the episode for the second time. Okay not about Moonraker (lol) but how way back in 1995 Braveheart gave us the definitive epic "two armies sprinting toward one another" which has been copied many times over from LOTR to Endgame but we've never had a definitive aerial battle between two groups of flying soldiers until now!

And filmed and presented so perfectly no less! How do you introduce a badass remnant of an elite jetpack wearing commando unit all the way back in 1980 and NOT capitalize on that until today?? :thud: Crazy that both the PT and ST just totally dropped the ball on that. They fly now was the best they could come up with. :cuckoo:

Wor-Gar had almost given up on Mando S3 but this was him when he saw ep 7 and ep 8 back to back especially the high speed jet pack armada decent from the upper atmosphere…

Lets not forget the super HD high quality atmospheric effects, smoke trails, rain, fog, drizzle, thunderous clouds, lightning and hail it was freaking insane!

I know i’m beating a dead horse but my imagination was finally turned into reality and it took a lifetime to get there. :thud:

That is a big deal for me because I never thought I would live to see the day that became a reality!

Oh my gosh no kidding. Beginning with that awesome close-up shot of Axe flying up into the atmosphere. Mando on the ground and then they pan up to a gloating Gideon with all the jetpack warriors swirling around above him... :drool
