Srsly Cara is my @ss kicking beautiful goddess. IMO a breath of fresh air in SW, after all the movies and series with twiggy little girls beating up obliging stuntpeople (and unlike Black Widow who compensated for her petite frame with scissor moves etc.) I liked the more or less soldiers-in-the-trenches no man left behind attitude of Cara. Miss her. I liked Gina seriously loved the character and what she was doing (and I don't care about the Twitter bickering and Disney shouldn't have either).

Katie Sackhoff IMO is doing a wonderful job. Suppose I take to characters like Fennec, Cara, Asaj 'coz they all have a dark side. I suppose Bo does as well, but it's not the same. Like I chuckled during the Mayfield episode when Boba, Fennec, and Cara were all on some sort of ISB blacklist.

Yeah all kidding aside, I'd be happy to see Cara show up again but sadly the chances are slim-to-none right now. And I also like my female characters with a little darkness which is why Fennec and Asajj Ventress are probably my two favorite ones in all of Star Wars. Heck I'm still hoping for a retcon so an older Asajj can pop up on Ahsoka, which may be even less likely than Cara's reappearance.

I know I read an article about it around the time the season started, and it's been mentioned a few times on here. Apparently the idea really was to have him go off with Luke and maybe come back around someday. The focus was to be much more on Din (as opposed to Grogu and getting him back to where he belonged) in season 3, while setting up this bigger Moff Gideon picture. Then apparently Kennedy objected, probably due to merchandising concerns, and that's likely why season 3 is such a disjointed mess.

Would be nice if Iger would just promoted Filoni to the head of Lucasfilm already. Maybe him running the show on his own movie is a step towards that.

I haven't read or seen anywhere of Kennedy actuallyl doing anything except random babbling by people who hate her. Favreau writes every show, he's still in charge. I don't get the blaming of other people who don't write anything.

Even if he was told to change what happens to Grogu, he's still not doing much and the merch angle is overblown. Kids that wanted a Grogu toy have one and the TVC/Black Series/Hot Toys collectors all don't really care much about him and all have several now. There's no way I'm buying a Hot Toys IG-12 or something.

IDK, Fennec managed to remain cool even while playing sidekick to Dumbo Daimyo Fett. As her rep survived that hurdle I'd argue it's all downhill from here.

Didn't Pedro just say publicly when the season started that he hopes to keep playing Mando for years to come? I'm not sure I buy him wanting off the show. People are always looking to stir stuff up. He seems to love the character, and why wouldn't he? He hardly does anything. I think season 2 was the only one he was really around for outside of just showing up to record his voice lines. He's got two doubles who do most of his work for him and yet he gets full credit for everything, and he's only gotten a bigger star because that's allowed him to do The Last of Us simultaneously.

I think KK changing things at the last minute and saying Grogu had to be involved in this season really screwed with Din's story and is why Katee has become the defacto lead. They had to rewrite a lot of stuff. Doesn't help that Pedro was busy with another show during the entire production and Gideon didn't show up until the end of the season even though Giancarlo said he thought he'd be much more prominent in season 3.

I think a lot of the original plans just had to be scrapped to accommodate Grogu - which further pushes the point that the show has a massive Grogu problem.

Everybody's been concerned lately about Pedro leaving the show, but now reliable sources are reporting that it's actually Grogu who might not be returning for season 4 of the Mandalorian. Apparently he's been demanding truckloads of frogs to be delivered backstage while casually "forcing" himself on the female staff. How do you guys feel about this and who do you think should take over the part after his inevitable exit?
