The Bat Computer would really only be of interest to me if it’s not too expensive which isn’t likely. Unless we get a Keaton Bruce Wayne in black turtleneck and jeans. Truthfully of the items in that Batcave I’d rather have the vault for his suit.

That Bat Computer console is massive. Bigger than I thought. And the chair is really cool.

But it will take more space than I want for that display, even with a Bruce Wayne. It's nearly as long as the Batmobile. And its still tragic that there's no Joker on screen. I'd actually like Joker, Penguin and Catwoman on those screens.

For the '89 movie, I think the gargoyle captures the flavor best... and works with both Batman and Joker.

I don't think the stand would fit with the Gargoyle on it. And I'm certain the Bat Computer probably won't as it's nearly the length of the Batmobile.

Yeah. That cathedral base with the gargoyle is going to look awesome in my opinion. I could see the computer being cool for someone who has a lot of space to build a Bat Cave diorama but otherwise I’m not sure how effective it would look on its own.

Seeing the HT Batmobile side on like that highlights just how shortened it looks. It's missing about 10cm in length. I photoshopped it to give a better idea of how it should be. It bothered me at first, but it has so much presence, i can overlook it. When viewed at an angle or from the front, it's not really noticeable.

Love this perspective! Plus, it was such a ground breaking experience to have a super hero big screen movie. This led the way for Tobey's Spider-man and all that came after. I remember absolutely loving it in theaters. Conversely, I absolutely hate Returns. The Penguin design ruined it for me.

I would say the '78 superman was probably more of a ground breaker. superman II had a lot of hype but with 2 directors it turned into a mess. III and IV should probably jave not been made.

So when 89 batman was announced we had really burned superhero movie bridges so to speak. The Burton films are great, especially 89. Then Schumacher takes over and ...well we know what happened.

The 89 film had quite a tightrope to walk. Should it be serious, comic / campy, or something in the middle? I think they made a good choice being both until the last 35 minutes or so when they get pretty dark.

If you tie the gargoyle around jokers foot and lie him down in the detolf, then it'll fit!

I have the DX09 and preordered the DX of this release.

I thought... I'm gonna have to try and catch a body. It should come with ratcheted articulations!
Then I thought I need a new cape. Tony Mei's just started to disintegrate on me...
And then I thought the diorama base is cool, with the shoe and the gargoyle...

So then I added the cost of grabbing these parts on their own.... and decided to preorder the DX!

Wise move, eh!

I think a ratcheted body (if this has one) is really all the justification I need to get this. My dx9 cant move against the suit, not even the elbows. I dont know about leaving a ratcheted 89 batman in an extreme pose though.

The position of the crotch grabber in the Gargoyle base looks problematic. Batman would be compressed against the back and side wall.
