That head sculpt with a good clown paint job would blow the DX08 head out of the water.

Love the laughing/screaming sculpt the most. Really reminds me of the DX11 alternative sculpt that Hot Toys actually did a great job on. I think they also confirmed on their page that they'll be adding the buzzer hand, fixing the hat and adding the neck tie in the final product.

Those last set of pics look great! However, I've been checking out their previous Joker releases on ebay and they do not look good. The sculpts look awful and the tailoring is pretty janky. I sure hope they've worked out the bugs and can deliver a cool figure.

What's with the one sculpt having a patch of white makeup on the forehead? I haven't watched the movie in years.

The first issue of the DX08 KO was ok for a KO, but the reissue was done in a different factory and from what I can tell, was made better. The headsculpt paint and eyes were still fine but not great though. However, if you look at some of their recent releases like Saul Goodman, BB Mike, and Jordan Belfort, they’re all pretty solid looking figures especially considering the price. Of course, everyone’s mileage varies.

I always assumed as a kid that in that scene Jack was just wiping the white paint onto his head from the handkerchief to create the effect.

I was impressed to hear years later how it was actually done. They painted the white paint onto Nicholson's forehead and then it was covered in something like vaseline to create a protective layer over it. They then painted over that with the fake flesh colour so that he could wipe that one layer off without removing the white paint as well.

That scene also messed with my head as a kid.

Seeing as a Keaton rerelease seems inevitable now, I’ll be needed a Nicholson Joker to pair with him and the holy grails of Batman collecting; Pfeiffer Catwoman and DeVito Penguin.

This is a thing of beauty - instant purchase.
Almost tempting to try and pick up the body of a DX08 knock off to put my DX08 coat tails on and the beret, running makeup face (which looks incredible) and the paint brushes from this set to replicate the gallery/partyman scene and use this body/outfit/head for the mobster look.

"haven't you heard of the healing power of laughter?"
