3rd episode was much stronger. Wasn't expecting an entire episode without Bad Batch appearing but enjoyed the whole focus being on Crosshair.
Loved all his incredible shooting. I think the BB really miss his skill in the squad.
Seeing his lonely life, how he's treated by his superiors. Seem to building up to some sort of redemption.

Seeing his sad dark grey box of a room with no personal touches in it and ONE light source just made me sad. They evidently make clones sleep fully dressed...? And not even one blanket. Not even a pillow?! Yikes.

???????

This isn't "greed," its that she knows that if they don't succeed in getting what Cid wants that her brothers will not get paid. She is trying to help them. This isn't grabbing some loot in WoW or something.

I get not liking a character - Leia basically ruined "Kenobi" for me, you want to talk about stupid little brats, we got a real thing with that one - but claiming Omega is intent on running around grabbing loot-boxes as if this were "Barbie's Temple Raid Adventures Online" is not really all that fair to the character, as intrusive as she can be.
Echo was also the one going on about how important the money was so that they can fight the Empire for real, she overheard it.

Kid acts like a kid, still having to learn life lessons. Water is also wet (although technically it isn't).

Make your mind up :lol

Mmmmm, I'm not sure about that. There's a difference between being competent but not perfect all the time because you're still figuring things out and being unrealistically free of weaknesses and lacking meaningful character flaws, which is what a Mary Sue is, in which case...

Man you sure do get upset your kiddy cartoon isn’t beloved. So odd.
I dunno why people watch kids shows that include kids then complain about the kids being kids :lol. There's these wonderful things called character arcs and development. Nobody liked Ahsoka at first and she grew into one of the best Star Wars characters ever imo, she made mistakes and learned from them and gained maturity in doing so. All kids are annoying.

Omega had a 5 minute training montage of “development” and that’s it.
Because the desire to consume, consume, consume is so powerful you have to watch it, even when it's clearly not your cup of tea.

It's like eating a box of chocolates and complaining about how awful the coffee ones were and that they shouldn't even bother with them... even though you ate them all because you're a greedy **** and you'll eat them out of the next box as well.

Kind of like your desire to cry, cry, cry?

The first season was hit and miss, and I typically like Filoni.

Still haven’t watched TROS, have dropped multiple MCU projects, but sure, apparently I have a desire to consume.
Like I get not liking the show but there was a whole first season to decide if you liked it or not, why come back? :lol

First season was hit and miss. Seeing if the first few are the same hit and miss.

It is greed when she is told multiple times not to, nearly died multiple times to get it, then willing to die again to try one more time. Greedy little brat.
Echo was also the one going on about how important the money was so that they can fight the Empire for real, she overheard it.
She also was directly told multiple times not to do it.

What an awful character.

So far. It took Ahsoka longer than that to be a fan favourite

I'm sure when you were a child you neverrrr went against your parents wishes or acted out...

Don't sweat it... it's not that big if they have to brag about it. :)

Watched this episode again - very good. I like where I think this might be going with all of the clones. Not a happy ending for sure (how could it be?) but it will be interesting. Loved the call-back to "Heroes on Both Sides". The art and overall look of this episode was fantastic and even the music stood out for a change. The creatives were on their "A" game here...hope they can keep it up.

POV character. As other characters offer exposition, they are explaining some basic world building concepts to the audience/viewers, while under the guise of doing so for a "novice" player.

In short form TV, "B" and "C" type storylines either get cut or heavily truncated. "A" type storylines lose a lot of it's practical motive elements. In short, set up to payoff requirements means thinned down set up when you are fighting the clock for time. Common sense starts to go when you have to drive the plot forward no matter what, but this explains just about any zombie movie ever made.

I would not say this is an awful character. I would however say a fair criticism is that the character lacks any personal agency.

But that's not the worst thing in the world for the large segment of the audience that are very young. They don't have any personal agency as well. They can't miss what they don't have nor understand.

You are not the target demographic for this show.

What Paul Dini did with Batman The Animated Series spoiled everyone in terms of what kind of storytelling you could pull off surrounded by a lot of limitations in an animated format. But the world building around Gotham was far more robust. It doesn't perturb me that The West Wing wasn't more like House of Cards. Nor did it pull me back when Frank Underwood was nothing like Jed Bartlett.

Disney makes "product" first, and then entertainment second. I like Bad Batch, but the rough parts of it is usually about force feeding the "product" above all else mandate.

One way to look at it is that the parts of this new SW universe you don't like, allows the leg room to allow things like Andor to get made. I don't think I've ever watched a single episode of Northern Exposure. I could care less about that show. But it gave David Chase enough credibility to make The Sopranos, which was pretty ground breaking and still holds up very well even today.

The moral of the story is love the rare big win but embrace the little wins when there is literally no other choice.

I loved the final season of The Clone Wars (well the Order 66 bit with Ahsoka anyway) but this show and these characters just don't do it for me. I wonder if part of it is that it's the first Disney era SW that doesn't feature a single Lucas created character in it.
Did Dave Filoni read my post from last week because damn this was a great episode. :lol

Haven't watched SS2 yet, was it good ? Or just mediocre -boring performance like the SS1 ?

You don't have kids do you?

You're the one complaining about a cartoon child, my dear fellow.
Dude. You are literally in here relentlessly defending a cartoon child all because of throwaway comments because you can’t handle someone having a differing opinion. This hasn’t even been a discussion, you come here, troll and mock, for what?

Give it a rest already. The only ones in here truly whining are the lot of you.

IMO, definitely worth doing. I have not seen a single main cast member from Rebels yet, and that is always a good thing. Episode 1 and 2 are not bad at all. Episode 3 is a must-see. Crosshair is absolutely breaking my heart.

Things are tightening up a bit this season, seems like. We'll see what happens. Give it a try at least.

In other news, it seems All Might needs a snack and a nap. *turns off light, gently closes door*
