Thanks, dug that photo out of the vault from ten (!) years ago for a comparison 🤣 Wow I cannot believe I’ve had him and Keaton Batman for that long!
Can't believe that the figures have aged that well too! 10 years later and joker is still a great figure and batman is definitely more out dated and could use some improvements, but they're still great figures!

For sure! They were a pair of figures and characters I’ll always want in my collection so I’m so glad they really knocked them out of the park the way they did, so that they still hold up in the collection today. I can see how both could be topped but honestly I don’t think Hot Toys is willing to put in the effort when they could just do a reissue.

Just received my Mars Toys Joker as well, and I'm pretty happy with him overall. The head will need a repaint and I'm still annoyed by how short they made his waistcoat, but it's still a pretty nice representation of the character for $160.

Nice pose!

How is the body? Did they also fix the loose joints issue in the new batch?

I like the Mars Joker. He might not be Hot Toys quality, but he wasn't Hot Toys price.

Not being invested in this iteration of the character, the bootleg does the job for me. He looks good on display. Apart from the oddly tied tie, he was good enough to convince me to pre-order the '66 range of Jokers.

I bought my DX08 for $75 when he came out 10 years back. From what I understand, HT overproduced this and the DX14 to justify the likeness rights and while he sold well, he wasn't exactly in demand as he is today hence you could find a good deal if you shop around back then.

75 dollars?!?! Wow thats a steal. I'm not going to mention how much i paid for mine sealed ten years later...only just gonna put that price behind me and move on now lol.

I was taking some product photos and thought this set up looked pretty cool.

At the end of the day, as long as you’re happy that’s what matters. There are some figures that I paid more than I really wanted to, but then I look at them and feel like it was worth it. Sure, it would’ve been great to get them at retail or even less, but if the price you paid doesn’t bother you then you’re good. It’s if you start to feel like you paid too much and regret the decision that you should question if you actually did want whatever you bought

I'd personally say whatever you paid it's still awesome since at the end of the day, it makes you happy and money is a renewable resource while these figures are finite. Besides, Nicholson is an extremely expensive man to obtain rights to and you could count his merch with one hand, there won't be a reissue of this.

Oh yeah, I'm super happy with the figure and absolutely love it despite the money i paid, and it was worth it to me. Plus it was also super cool opening that sealed shipping box for the first time. There is so little merch of Jack Nicholson, it honestly surprises me. He is very expensive to obtain rights for and seems that most companies can't afford him and nor does he want people to make merch of him

The '66s look good, don't they?
