I'm almost disappointed, as Aragorn is nowhere near this level... and if I can't get Aragorn, I will not be getting Gandalf.
If it's any consolation, the Aragorn feels fairly early and so may not be at the level yet, but could be by the time we get the same kind of amazing set of solicitation pictures as we had for Gandalf.

I will admit that this is better than the Asmus version. But I don’t think it’s 150 dollars better. He does look great though
For those who have the Asmus maybe. For those who don’t it’s definitely worth spending the extra. When you consider you have to spend shipping and taxes on the Asmus, if buying from Sideshow, then that $150 is likely brought down to $100-120 (depending where you live).

The short beard and short robes are killing this for me. Hopefully both will be corrected before release.

Actually, Asmus sculpt is also decent, and Inart looks not as good from certain angles. The point is that in different scenes the face looks slightly different. They both have the widow peak too high. But the deep sitting eyes and their color take a lot from the realism\likeness of Asmus sculpt, and Inart definitely makes eyes perfectly positioned and colored.

Asmus look:

And they took these shades too seriously:

They might have been trying to aim for that expression but failed in making it actually look like Ian or at least like a human being. Just looks too cartoonish and off. Asmus's version has too much of a "generic old santa clause" man look to it. You can tell me that's some generic stunt double with white hair and beard and I would believe you.

Like compare the two here: Going from the movie reference to Inart, you can immedicably see that there is some realism and similarity between the two. Now go from Asmus to the bottom movie reference. Similar expression between the two for sure but Asmus's sculpt just doesn't sit right.
