Wow, great photo! The light and shadow accentuate the damage to the armor really well. Did you try it also with the white eye lens light turned on?

I prefer not to have the lens on as it was damaged during the battle, I would like to show the severity of the damages done. It looks terribly cartoonish when I had it on :lol

As an owner of both, I like MMS349 better as a figure. They're both great, but the non-battle damaged version is better. It's surprising how much more expressive the mouth plates are for the non-Battle Damaged version. The sculpt on the Battle Damaged one is good and the Kryptonite spear is great, but the mouth totally makes the original look like a shot from the film.

I agree. I really wanted to like the BD version but the neutral sculpt made it forgettable. If they had made an angry, gritted teeth "Why did you say that name?!" sculpt, I would've been all over it.

Arguably that facial expression for the head sculpt is the one he has at the first moment of realization during his flashback. Not to be confused with his angrier, more tortured reaction to the realization a couple seconds latter as he staggers around a bit and then hurls the spear. I'm talking about when he's remembering his parents' murder, immersed in that moment, and it actually sinks in what he's been doing as Batman his whole life. It's a grim expression.

He’s okay. The expression is pretty boring and the Affleck likeness is a bit weak.

If you get him, I’d definitely recommend one of CREG’s heads.

It’s probably just coincidental, but the facial expression on the head sculpt perfectly matches the moment in the film when he has the memory of his parents murder triggered by Superman saying “Save Martha…” which of course leads to it insight that that’s what’s been driving him unconsciously his whole life.

Some more from another shoot yesterday. Wasn’t satisfied with the shots I had with the spear. I like these a lot better:
