Think it's easier to "hide" that kind of CG when characters have stronger features and more wrinkles. Ruffalo's Hulk has wrinkles, stubble, just a rougher and more detailed appearance in general. Plus they gave him the cartoonish tiny nose, so the viewer expects less realism since what they're seeing is already stylized.

Young women and especially children are extremely difficult to do with CG because their facial features are more subtle. No wrinkles or harsh details to hide behind. The texturing has to be on-point and the lighting has fewer landmarks to bounce off of. This is before we even talk about animating the digital face.
The hair looks fake too though. And it’s not just her face that looks bad; it’s also the animation/movement that looks janky and unnatural.

There’s also a few scenes that look like a bad comp job, she just doesn’t look like she’s actually there.

At the end of the day; they designed the character so any faults of the design still lands the blame squarely on them. No excuses.

She is probably not there. That may be a CG replacement. I think Corridor Crew did a video of this (I have yet to watch it).

I know, but it’s their job to make her look like she’s actually there.

If you can’t do it right then just don’t bother doing it at all.

Oh I am not defending this, I agree with you. I also criticized the Ms Marvel VFX in her show thread. Seems like Loki and Moon Knight sucked up all the VFX budget for the D+ Marvel shows. :lol

Did you watch Moon Knight? The CGI was pretty **** there too in more than a few spots :lol.

So basically, people work their balls off for years at a time for him to eventually sign it off after god knows how many iterations, just for him to take the piss once it's finished.

As beyond sick as I am of superhero stuff, this might be the first Marvel show or movie I check out this decade.

Why does her hairdo change when she transforms? Do the gamma rays straighten hair? Will Hot Toys make an Abomination figure? These are the questions that need answering.

I wonder if Banner made Jenn special clothes how can her lawyer suit fit her in both forms :lol
