Only point in reissuing a Dooku is if they are doing an AOTC Anakin and Obi-Wan.
I mean they announced this as the 20th Anniversary of Attack of the Clones so who knows. I could see at least Anakin being made to go with Padme. But hopefully Obi-Wan too.

Might be getting AOTC figures throughout the entire year. The Clones could bleed over to many years. The tease says "lineup". Never know until you know with this company. I will say that their teases at least have lead to PO's lately besides the Batmobile and that could still happen. Last tease, not figure on display, I believe was the comic War Machine that didn't get a PO.

I think they’re trying to up their game somewhat which is at least one good thing from InArt coming into play. I feel like Hot Toys is putting more effort into their social media game.

What exactly is your problem? Seriously it happens to a lot of us where we miss figures. I’m just stating with the 20th Anniversary announcement of figures coming and Dooku being a memorable part of the film plus an existing popular figure a re-release would be welcome. Get the hell out of here with your holier than thou attitude.

Reissues in general are very bad for the hobby. You can expect it to possibly happen with characters like Vader and Fett, but not characters like Dooku. They devalue/degrade the hobby and slow production of other desirable characters deserving of a figure. If two fricking years isn't enough time I don't know what to tell you, besides go buy it on ebay.

I mean I’m not disagreeing entirely as reissues do slow down other figures, but they are a thing. Hot Toys have re-released lesser figures. See K2SO and KX Enforcer Droid which are more or less the same thing.

I don’t necessarily agree about devaluing/degrading the hobby. That’s only for people looking at the hobby as an investment to make money back. Hot Toys aren’t and have never been limited/numbered so to reissue is something that can happen.

For starter, they will likely shelf half the reveals from celebration. That's gonna leave plenty of space for the Kenobi show PO :p

I am curious how they're going to balance this and Kenobi releases.
It took them six months to get a Kate Bishop figure up for pre-order. It's going to have taken them another six months to have gotten Tobey/Andrew Spider-Men up for pre-order. I don't think being timely is a thing for Hot Toys much these days.

Star Wars collectors will always spend on Star Wars, Hot Toys doesn't need to worry about balance with Kenobi to be honest.

They had the Episode II 3PO on display at a convention a couple years ago. I mean they’re not showing him in full light so maybe it’s just the Episode VII version is more finished but obviously never released and they’re using that as the basis for the one they’re planning to issue.
