I did the same for a while as I was on early the site a little early, but it seems like the break I took from the site to check on FB to see if the link had been up posted was my downfall oh well, I still have one secured elsewhere, my inpatience just wanted one sooner than later

I'm pretty sure Present will do a second run.

Yep that’s what I did. And wow. Looking at FB and I absolutely can’t believe how many people are upset about missing a cheap $150 figure that will probably get a second run.

Just looked at Kit's other Facebook and it's been a lot busier!

That will be good for those that missed out altogether. Stateside retailers usually get theirs about a month after kit, which is where I have my PreOrder at and that will still be less of a wait time than waiting on a second run from Present Toys

Yes, it could take Present another two years for the second batch! Unless they added to the run straight away.

Yup! But even if they put another order in, they maybe have to get in the back of the line for whatever factory they’re using. The Mars Toys Joker got a second run pretty quickly after it’s initial release but that’s still not scheduled for release until the end of the year and it wouldn’t surprise me if that even gets delayed.

Yes, there's no way to please everyone.

What he did was the fairest option, and it was up to those who wanted it to be prepared, and to use a bit of common sense.

Heh, all those Facebook comments are more than likely empty threats just to try to get their way like children. All those guys saying they’ll order elsewhere from now on will still order from Kit when something else comes up that they want.

Kit said they had very low stock. People knew the demand for this figure. Of course it wasn't gonna stay up on the site for a couple of minutes. Preparation, speed and common sense was key for this situation. Congrats to everyone who snagged an Indy!

Also, with regards to timing. Whenever I'm on the Chinese BBICN forum the time often never matches the time on my devices. China and Hong Kong may be in some kind of temporal warp where they're a few minutes in the future.

I guess it comes down to wording really. Saying that he would “publish the link” does sound like he’d post the link on the FB page and doesn’t sound like “the figure will be available on the site at 2100 HK time” even if he meant the latter instead of the former. Still no reason for the ppl on FB to act the way they are about a toy, though. Bunch of sour patch kids (or tiddybabies at Nam used to say) making threats b/c they couldn’t get an order in on a figure that they SHOULD’VE pre-ordered years ago if they really wanted it.

All I see is butthurt collectors lashing out because they got caught up in FOMO and ignored Kit's previous comments and his newer ones saying he's bugging Present Toys for a second batch, Kit is the most friendly and understanding retailer you could possibly ask for, always active in the community and keeping his prices as fair as possible, and the majority knows this, I hope a few manbabies posting mean comments on Facebook of all places don't drive Kit away.

Just woke up about thirty minutes ago. Looks like I missed all the craziness. Didn't realize Kit even set a time he was going to post his stock. Was that on his Facebook group? Kinda bummed cause I was religiously following this thread as I don't have a Facebook account. Man, between TW screwing me on pre-orders and this it's been a little frustrating lately. Oh well.

I genuinely feel bad for Kit though, the way people are behaving are like little children not getting their way. And that's after he's listing his extra stock at way less than market value.

Guess I'll keep my eye out, not really wanting to wait another year+ for a second batch.

The fact Kit even went the extra mile and got extra stock to sell BELLOW the market value is extremely commendable, either these collectors forgot how the third party market is or they are newbies who think third party stock sits around like that of Hot Toys, if you're interested in a TP figure then it's safer to drop a deposit on it than wait for it to release, they really have nobody to blame but themselves.

Was it a supply of 10 units being chased by 30 buyers ? Or 100 units being chased by 1,000 bids ?

I'm a little taken aback by how popular this one seems to be. I guess the long wait was worth it. This was my oldest active preorder.

I was going to pass on this figure and just pick up a few parted out pieces. But it might be hard to find that leather jacket parted out, as it most probably will be snapped up very quickly. It's not perfect but it looks very nice and for me the best part of the set.
I can smell the leather just watching the video...
