A friend of mine worked on the show and a month before it’s release hyped it up. “Gonna be SO good” “You’re gonna be blown away” and gave me the low down on who and what was gonna appear - he was 100% correct on the latter but only 20% on how great it was going to be. After the first couple episodes I had to ask him if he worked on the same show!! Possible rewrites and reshoots? Who knows.

To me it severely lacked. It had its moments but could have been so much more. As many here Fett is one of my all time favourites: Kenner kid who saw Empire in the theaters, mail-away figure, all the way to my first HT being the ROTJ Fett. It was a big let down but I still managed to find parts of the show very likeable and entertaining. I don’t dislike the show as much as many here do but totally understand. Mando Fett is where I’ll leave his character.

Book of Boba Fett hopefully just stays this one chapter - I doubt there will be a second season - and when he appears in Mando 3 (good possibility) he’ll keep his helmet on and just go back to being the Mando Fett we were introduced to. It was cool seeing him back to back with Din in the initial shootout.

I can see a Vanth this week, Bane next in the SW line then Krrsantan. HT really took it on the chin with the last Chewie though.

I think both Vanth and Bane are coming but given HT still probably has plans to release more figures for NWH as well as 1 or 2 from Hawkeye, I'm not convinced we'll see them anytime soon. I'm also beginning to think that a Black Chrysanthemum figure may never see the light of day.

All those rumors are started by fans. People thought Han Solo was going to show up in this show. Hamill obviously doesn't mind being involved in anything, but there's no chance Ford is showing up for a TV show.

Anyone that watched The Mandalorian and skipped this show is gonna be confused when season 3 starts.

I can't help feeling it greatly reduces the impact of the season 2 finale.

Yeah I agree, I mean how much time here has passed since the S2 finale? A few months, maybe?

I could see them thinking it'll just be awesome if they were on set with Black Krrsantan, Cad Bane, Mando, and Fett all running around.
I'm kind of hoping Fett stays on the planet and just stays put. I think he's done all he can for Mando and Mando has repaid him. What I don't know is what we're supposed to think about Cobb Vanth. He's teased for coming back, but for what? You'd think he'd just stay in Freetown.

Why didn’t Fett use his Firespray Gunship to wipe out the Pykes, as it is all he used it for was to wipe out an innocent gang of Nicto bikers - a henious and violent act that reflected poorly on his character. Hopefully we get another series to highlight a reformed character, a man of warmth who lays down his weapons.

I think it was Tales of the Bounty Hunters that made me care about both Dengar and Bossk. Further reading has only enhanced that.

Have to say, seeing Trandoshans onscreen kind of messed with my head canon. Had always imagined them as somewhat bigger than the average human, not as big as Wookiees but definitely bigger. And maybe a little bulkier too. Especially the upper body. Knowing the stuff they can do, just generally enhanced physicality.

Then onscreen theyre the same size as people.

All those rumoured cameos, especially Bossk, turned out to be a fart in the wind. Oh well, my budget was around 6 preorders, I don't think it will reach that.

I was entertained. There was a lot of silly and stupid stuff, but it was at least enjoyable.

Rodriguez is capable of really good high budget stuff - see Alita Battle Angel.

Yeah but one day on set and seeing the scooty scoot gang or “like a Bantha” I’d be a little skeptical hehe.
Next season of Mando will probably have Din just pop by Freetown to show fans Cyborg Vanth then to Mos Espa to see how Fett’s doing. Better to see them fight along side him on Mandalore or whatever they have planned next. Nice to see Vanth at the end but was disappointed to see the Mother Modding Rick James smh.

I can see Vanth being soon but I'm not sure about the others. Krrsantan is actually quite different from Chewie and harder to make since he's got the braids going. If they didn't know about Bane, that will take at least a month. The Gamorreans are there since episode 1 so if HT are going to do them, might as well announce them now.

HT seems to be behind in terms of human head sculpts. Goblin sculpt not ready and getting roasted for Doc sculpt.

Well at least with Goblin's helmet hair...he keeps his helmet on all the time...unlike Boba

But they (HT) gave Goblin the creepy smile they should have given to the 1/4 scale Fett.
