Looks awesome; I'm assuming we'll get at least an endoskeleton too since that's easy money if you've already got the license.

I'm pretty happy with the NECA version but if they make an 80s Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese and a T800 Endoskeleton... I AM GAME! if this is just a one off, I think I'll pass. Glad for those hyped for it tho!

I’ll support the line for however many figures they’re willing to make. If this is a one and done then so be it.

I just noticed that his Endo eye can be seen under his glasses, pretty cool little detail.

I'd buy it but I can't get hugely excited about an Endoskeleton at this size - even smaller than NECA - I know it's a higher pricepoint but I feel like the size is such a limiting factor that so much detail & mechanics will not be possible no matter how much we're paying.

I'm one of those idiots that prefer T1 over T2 so I'm happy to see Mafex going with the road less taken with the franchise.
Nothing wrong with that.

Maybe I'm just a MAFEX fanboy (I only started buying their stuff after they really improved the QC) but I think this looks freaking GREAT.

I will hold out for a T2 version though, so I guess I'll get it sometime in 2026 at the rate they're going.

I imagine they'll run into the same problems NECA did considering all the different "looks" the characters had over the movie. I could easily see just "clean" Arnold with a half cyborg head but that's not really accurate cause his whole body was trashed by that point.

And what about the T-1000? One the one hand you basically have a very normal "cop" looking figure, on the other extreme you have a guy that's all silver.

MAFEX does do straight repaints from time to time, so I guess it's a possibility.

I’m fine with a one and done figure with this one.

I’ve bought multiples of the Mafex Robocops and NECA Terminators to have all their looks clean/partial/damaged, but I don’t really care about that with this one.

This one I want to put in a dynamic pose (him going through the police station hallways, both guns in hand) and that’s it. It fills that purpose. I don’t need alternate/swap out damage parts because it just ends up being hands, plates, etc that sit in a bin in a box somewhere.

They missed my crazy period when I was in the multiples game.

I'll be happy with one now where I can hopefully achieve gun poses that aren't possible with NECA.

I did buy all the Mafex Robocops but when I say 'multiples' I'm talking about buying more than one of an individual release. So obviously I'm still in for a Tech Noir if they make one.

I'm the real oddball. I want T3 stuff, that moves. That's never happening.

This looks pretty great. Tempting, it's nice to see Terminator figures again.

That's because it's been rammed into the ground by worthless sequel after worthless sequel when the story was completed and the concept used up - in 1984. . .
WORD :D

Bought.

Wrong gloves and sunglasses are way too small, but I don’t care, I’m getting it. Not enough Terminator collectibles as far as I’m concerned.

Will pose dual wielding with Robocop.
I keep seeing this on BBTS, and he's calling to me like a sea siren. Frankly, I think it's pretty ugly aesthetically, and the price is outrageous for what it is. Also, Medicom has only done one thing really well in my opinion, and that's Kubricks (if you are into that sort of thing, I am). But damn. Terminator 1 Terminator. In terms of sci-fi characters he might be at the very top of my list. Weird that they gave him the poster-accurate gloves, though.

Tech Noir would be a no brainer since they already have the head, guns, torso and legs.

Just tool up new arms and a jacket piece.
Now that I think I would have to buy, just because the design is so great.

Ah crap..I forgot his jacket was different in the beginning ..how can Mafex forget this :pfft:

I unfortunately missed out on Robocop. I didn’t feel the need to get it at the time and now that the prices of him have skyrocketed on eBay, I think I missed my chance.
Robocop 3 version is still available. Sure you miss out on the battle damage parts, but it comes with the rest of the accessories + the jetpack and gun arm. Paint job is almost exactly the same. I think there might be a bit more purple in spots, but it's not something you'd notice unless you have R1 and R3 next to each other.

It's better than completely missing out. They do reissue, but that's not guaranteed.

I'll leave anything else to P., I've already taken fire :lol
Mafex is not my line of interest :) normally i totally ignore obvious joints while other collectors hate them, but Mafex figures seem to be made entirely of joints.
and those silver zippers and buttons for T1 instead of black. in 2022. when it's been discussed over and over. so lame.
i'd sell everything i had for this figure 25 years ago though.

Yeah, I did think, in addition to the inaccuracies, that this figure would be a bit too small and toylike for your present tastes.

That's all NECA is interested too. Remember when they made lots of other stuff?
i'd love them to continue Dead Space monsters line, but sadly it stopped before i even knew about it :( couldn't even afford the only necromorph they made.
at least i got Freeman and Chell when they still didn't cost like gold.
