I've seen some pretty good standing poses with the Toys Era Fiend that I'm sure will look even better with the Hot Toys

This below pose looks real cool to me. At first glance I mistook spidey's arm for Goblin's other arm, and I might actually want to pose mine the way that I mistook this picture...if you get what I mean.

That video in general had a lot of nice posing:

On display at Secret Base. I also like how better scaled the glider is on Hot Toys. I know they're not the same glider but I feel like TE's is underscaled.

I couldn't tell how big it was in the promo pics, but yeah this pic shows that it is a lot bigger than Toys era's glider. Awesome.

Thanks for sharing. The extra figure stand pole coming all the way up to clip around Goblin’s body was not in any of the promo videos. I have to wonder if that’s optional or if the figure won’t stay on the glider on his own, which would be pretty garbage.

Thanks for sharing. The extra figure stand pole coming all the way up to clip around Goblin’s body was not in any of the promo videos. I have to wonder if that’s optional or if the figure won’t stay on the glider on his own, which would be pretty garbage.

He probably stands fine. Reminds me of the Classic Goblin SooSoo did where they also included a waist grabber but Goblin stays on fine on the glider without it. It's just extra support. The foot probably pegs directly into the foot stands for the glider and it looks like there's a band that goes over the top.

Completely unrelated but being into Halloween and Haunted houses i would love to build a full size animatronic version of this to scare people with.

Another reason to display the glider next to the figure instead.

Doesnt seem to look as maniacal as I hoped, very antman as people have already pointed out
Although it's non final so hoping for improvements
Or maybe with the assumed Final Battle version things will get crazier
I'd rather have a cold frown with this one and a wide eyed cackle with the final battle version

I don't think Hot Toys has every done a great job with really expressive sculpts so yeah I don't think this will be any different. I liked their recent Loki one but they can't quite seem to do it right with the eyes.

Not displaying this figure with the sculpt regardless. Not expecting anything crazy from them.

I'm fairly sure they're going for something like this, since it's the most iconic shot of Dafoe as Osborn.

Sadly, the head sculpt does look much closer to AntMan than it does to the classic DaFoe you posted. Good thing they decided not to show that one. A complete redo is in order.

I think it’s optional. If one wants to put the glider in a dive or a more angled flight pose then that extended pole and waist grabber can provide extra security if so desired. There are varying levels of competence among collectors when it comes to setting up these figures. One miscalculation is all it takes to have your $400+ figure go crashing to the floor.

Even if the sculpt is a bit off, it may still work since Dafoe’s Goblin looks demented anyway.
Ant Man looking like that is just……not good.
