Boba - "I'm tired of working for idiots that will get me killed."

Fennec - :giggle:

Fennec ends up working for an idiot that will get her killed.

“They are not foolish enough to see that the Pykes would eventually take over the entire planet”

Uhh, so they wont see what you want them to see? There should be a “not” between “to” and “see”. This writing and directing is something else.

While it’s not Shakespeare, what she said made sense “they may be stubborn, but they are not foolish enough to see that the Pykes would eventually take over the entire planet.”

Yeah but that means they wont see it. They aren’t foolish enough TO see it.

EV-9D9 went from chief of cyborg operations to bartender at Chalmun's cantina, and then back to the palace as a cook under Bib.

Droids for the most part in this series are comedy fodder. As is the whole series really, especially compared with The Mandalorian.

Kind of strange that everyone listed this episode as being directed by Bryce Dallas Howard when it was directed by Kevin Tancharoen. I wonder if they swapped the episodes lol. This episode seems better because it moved the story forward with considerable pace, something the first three did not.

The sarlaac acid must have eaten into Fett's brain(and caused permanent damage). How was he with it enough to dig through the sand like a gopher(impossible) yet he seems to have no idea or recollection that he made it out with his armor on his body. At what point does Fennec realize that this guy belongs in a retirement community, not running a criminal enterprise. It feels like we are seeing the Star Wars version of Junior Soprano near the end of his life. Hey Boba, you were once a bad ass bounty hunter...

Did you miss the scene where Boba took Fennec to the tattoo parlor for medical care?
Haha no one was riding that one so could not be offended by it's slow speed and uselessness, plus it was not in broad daylight so I wasn't dazzled by its bright colour.

I thought the Mods (the name kind of makes sense as they are a not so subtle nod to mods and rockers but also because they like to modify themselves with mechanical implants) in this episode looked a bit more cyber-punkesque than budget burton catalogue models this time. I felt like the director did not like them but tried to make the best of them and cut their part down to as short as possible. He also made them seem a bit cultish with the fascination of the beauty of cybernetic parts rather than just a bunch of posers doing it because it was the latest fashion trend. I don't know, it made the best of a bad situation with them already being on Tatooine (where they absolutely do not belong).

Showing more of them made it seem like Boba's offer to Vespa girl was to the whole wider gang which made a little more sense as that would be a more effective force than just the four / five power rangers we saw last week.

"Help me recover my Firespray gunship."

:slap

Maybe he thought Fennec wouldn't recognise the name.

"Help me recover my Slave 1"
"Slave 1? How many Slaves you got?"

“They are not foolish enough to see that the Pykes would eventually take over the entire planet”

I caught that too. Very odd. So seeing that the Pykes would eventually take over is foolish? It should have been..

“They are not foolish enough to think that the Pykes won't eventually take over the entire planet”

So how long was Boba stuck in the Sarlaac? I thought he managed to get out pretty sharpish after going in but this episode seemed to imply that he might have been down there for years slowly digesting?

Also as I thought it might, the show now definitely looks to be going for full seven samurai / magnificent seven for the final showdown. Three recruited so far (Boba, Fennec and BK) with Mando a lock for number 4 leaving 3 potential spaces left to fill (hoping for some ESB bounty hunters, Bossk and Dengar). Maybe Cobb Vanth can come back for the final space. Would be a fun homage to genres that Star Wars already leans so heavily on.

If they are up against the pikes with the rumoured Crimson Dawn influence it would be really fun if Cad Bane and Qi'ra were leading them.

This episode finally gave the show a bit of a plot line and I am now excited rather than anxious about the next episode.

Read description of the episode and seen YT clips. This show continues to be a joke.

WTF with the ship and sarlacc scene? Did some 8 yr old come up with that idea? That might be the most illogical thing I have ever seen.
