You ask "who TF cares?" yet keep wasting your time finding reasons to justify something you deem irrelevant (the Vespa gang having fancy things while being portrayed as too destitute to afford water).

Some viewers (myself included) assume that a destitute group of youths would look far more haggard if the point was to make them sympathetic for having to resort to stealing. Y'know... as opposed to selling their stuff or riding their Vespas to a district where there *is* work. But if it doesn't bother you, then why worry about it seeming weird to anyone else? :wink1:

But I do like your assertion that Fett's tenure as daimyo has already wiped out the jobs in Mos Espa. I mean, incompetent crime boss learning the ropes is one thing, but I didn't realize that catastrophically inept enough to dry up a job market in record time was the design to start Fett's arc from. I love it! Uncle Fettster strikes again! :lol
Just "ignore" dude, you'll never reach these people, they're product loyalists.

No sure why anyone would care what I would say. Calling Boba Fett a “major” supporting character is going a bit far in my opinion. That was my first post into this thread at all, Clearly after reading back a few pages , some fans are pissed about this show. So what else is new? Fans pissed at the direction Disney ks taking Star Wars? My gosh how can that be.
I think alot of fans once again had their head cannon squashed, and they are pissed about it.
Proably best to stop watching Star Wars shows. This is pretty much what every Star Trek forum looks like after every new movie and show….

Ok, here is one of my [many] questions about this stupid show:

I see she has a cybernetic arm, but a human hand. How could nerves control the hand, and a blood supply nourish it when there's a whole metal arm between it and the body? Would it not be cooler to just give her a cybernetic hand a la Luke? His was pretty cool. Just give her one of those?! This makes absolutely no effing sense, like none of the rest of this does. *annoyed*

Can't wait to wake up to another barrage of hate for the next episode. :lol Might save me the 40/50 minutes like last time.
I think Boba Fett will eventually drop the whole honor and respect nonsense, and cut loose. We're going to see him flying and blowing stuff up. Fennec will look up to him, literally, like 😛😏 and then Boba Fett will kill all the bad guys and become the ultimate crime lord.

The hand is probably mechanical too, but with some kind of artificial skin on it. Perhaps it's stolen or she simply can't afford the whole arm to be covered in skin. Or it's a style choice. She likes having a "human" hand and robot arm. Look at her 1980s cyberpunk outfit.

That's for pleasuring the male (or female :monkey5) species without inflicting damage.

Synthetic flesh on the hand.
[Edit: and see above :wink1:

.
and she should have the prosthetics be mirrored so that she has proper balance for ***** sake. At least Vader was a quadro.
300

I remember this at the time Bionic Man GI Joe rip off always bugged me, with one bionic leg, wouldn't he run around in circles? :lol
Although the arm is likley more for fashion statement with these "Mods" , as much as a power up.

She needs to steal some of that sweet sweet water to pay for that ****.

Yeah they casted Morrison as Fett so they have already made it very clear that when it comes to continuity they don't give a ****. At this point I hope that when Emilia Clarke makes her grand entrance she flies in on a dragon and barbecues the scooter gang.
I really don’t understand all the Morrison hate, build aside. It’s been canonically established the double Tatooine suns really do a number on human aging. Obi-Wan, Owen, Beru - even Luke all look much older than their actual ages. The Lars went from 20 something’s to 60 somethings in about 20 years. Fett cooking out in the suns would likely look older than his established age as well. I don’t see it being a huge stretch to have Morrison playing a 40 year old Boba that’s been through the wringer. Bacta can only do so much.

Masterful fan justification. :clap

I prefer my hyperdrive bull$hi+, but I genuinely appreciate your effort.

By leaving the actress's real hand they don't have to worry about having a fake hand having to convincingly interact with everything she touches. That was the reason given for Ava having Alicia Vikander's real hands in Ex Machina. So I would assume that "in universe" her hand is indeed prosthetic along with the rest of her arm as others here have suggested and that that was the only part of her cybernetics covered in synthetic skin (like Luke's hand.)

Also for as much as I joke with everyone about how much all of their gear would cost I am still a huge fan of 80's cyberpunk and penniless orphans in the possession of one of a kind, state of the art hardware is a classic trope of said genre.

Does it fit with Star Wars? Maybe, maybe not, but I like it nonetheless. :)

Next episode, Boba will start sniffing the Vespa girls hair.

Weirdly, I'm not against this... :monkey3:chase

"Your hair smells..., LIKE A BANTHA." 😌

Vespa girl - 😩

Fennec 🙄

The Cyberpunk stuff might fit with SW, but in a different planet. That city planet from Attack of The Clones maybe. A desert planet tho...😬
