This looks really good. A bit cartoony in the face but well done with lots of display options.

Something is off on this. The outfit it kind of odd with it being so asymmetrical. And yeah the head is a bit too anime styled. I need an Ivy to go with Catwoman and Harley but I don’t think this is the one.

Yeah I’m torn; it’s Ivy but not as I’d ideally have her. She’s cartoonish but, when the Arkham iteration would be my ideal, she’s not quite cartoonish enough!
The price also seems a bit too high for such a simple figure. Those seamless bodies really are a license to whack up the cost. The accessories are pretty cool and I definitely like the base but This just doesn’t do it for me. I think I’m gonna need an Arkham Game Ivy or even the Uma Thurman iteration for the overwhelmingly cheesy nostalgia factor.

its a very cool looking figure. The headsculpt is too anime for me though. Headsculpt looks more like it would go with the Star Ace Batman Ninja versions of Harley and Catwoman

Yup. I am getting a strong tinkerbell vibe.

I saw the 'Plant Controller' title appear on the BBICN forum last Monday, and guessed who it was going to be. I was hoping for something more 'Ivy like', and with a more realistic sculpt, who'd fit in with the Gotham/Nolan crossover that my figures have settled into.

The photos instantly reminded me of this 1/6 Tinkerbell:

Yeah but in all the modern medium, Ivy’s been green.
You’d also have to take into consideration the cost of casting the silicone bodies in green. I’m sure they took the easy way out and decided to go with the old design because it’s more cost effective.
You could always give the body a green wash to your liking. Depending on how willing you are to attempt it and potentially ruin a $200+ figure.

This was a quick and very dirty photo edit.

The green is a nice touch and helps sell the figure, but stylistically it would just be out of place in my collection. I've got to admit that I prefer her look from the Harley Show and would like to see that in some form.

I’ll wait for a better Ivy representation in 1/6. This one just doesn’t do it for me. It’s nice looking but too anime for me. Also I do prefer a green Ivy personally.

I want to like this more than I do - I want more Batman villains, but I completely agree that this Ivy looks too anime-ish and without a few more visual clues she seems a touch too simple and dare I say boring?
The Ivy's I grew up with didn't have green skin - but I can't help but feel in this case that it would improve the look of this figure considerably.
I think I will wait till we have an Arkham Ivy - 3rd party or not.
.... or I'll wait till this figure is being sold on the market for well below its current retail cost.....
