I just broke down and bought another deluxe 501st and Coruscant guard.

I'm with ya man, I'm so close to picking up not 1 but 2 more 501st clones.

Ahsoka might break me too when I see even more great photos of all of them together.

My plan is to have 5 501st wearing phase 2 helmet, and 2 501 with 332nd helmet to pair with Ahsoka and upcoming Vauhgn.

This shot really makes clear why, as fun as it is to see the clones helmeted, imo they really shine Buckets Off.

Notice that we have two HT clones who are distinct in looks: Cody is Basic, and Rex is blonde. Then we will have Jesse and his tattoo. After that, im really expecting Wolffe, because he is also extremely distinct. Pre-Bad Batch Echo is likely, because he has easily distinguishable features.

Which one is it that has the brown eye/blue eye and is bald? Is that Gregor? He will show up too, just wait. No i dont think that was Gregor, ah I forget.

Rex arrived. Certainly not a big fan of the green. Definitely a production paint application error there I think. Too heavily applied. So I may take a bit of that off as was mentioned previously. Thanks for the tip !

But he fits in nicely with a flying 501st behind to Anakin.

Now i just need a Utapau Trooper to go with Cody and that'll do my little core Clone display,

Was able to place an order for Rex on Midtown Comics. He doesn't show as in stock now but he did when I placed the order so we'll see. I'm gonna cancel the order if I have no updates by Friday of next week.

Just got my invoice for Rex from AE. Strange as was expecting the invoice for the Shoretrooper today as got the 5-10 day notice a while back and there was no notice on Rex

Whatever, getting a toy soon

I have never had such a 180 on a figure. Went from “eh I do not need him in the collection, won’t go down the Clone Wars route” to “OMG I need him NOW!!!!”

I watch all the YouTube reviews, even the small channels. This looks so good to pass up on. Just hard waiting.

Haha well I will start with Rex!
I decided to get Bo Katan and I guess she is sorta Clone Wars even though it is a Mando version.

I think Rex could be my favorite figure of the year. He's got some mad shelf presence. The variation in color between Rex and the regular 501st troopers doesn't bother me as much as I expected but it would be nice if they matched a bit more closely. Still, the head sculpt is incredible.

That looks absolutely incredible!!! I think this will be most ppls FOTY. I can’t wait to get it.
I actually think the colour variation makes sense in a way…Rex probably has seen more combat and it reflects in his mode dirtied, weathered armour.

Yeah I'd be interested in that too. I remember Sideshow had an angled hand for some weapons like that. That's too high tech for Hot Toys who probably just take existing Star Trooper hands and mod them for Clones.

Do they fit to the actual weapons the Clones have......ummm didn't check that.......

Landed a couple days ago and had some time today to check out the figure. I’m not big on clones and was underwhelmed with Cody, mainly due to his jenky light-up arm but this guy is a solid figure. Sculpt on this is an A+ and the green tinted weathering doesnt bother me but I also don’t have any 501st’s to display him next too.

Also I don’t mean to sound like Cody is a crap figure. The colors and design are amazing. The fidgetiness of that light-up arm as well as the exposed wrist joint was a let down.

After seeing the improvements they did with the 501st, Coruscant Guard and Rex, Cody is a bit of a letdown, when it comes down to the articulation and movements he can make.

Like you said, that left arm is a damn disaster.

Doesn't take away how good Cody looks though, but he is a bit more limited compared to the 3 new clones we've gotten.
