Yeah, the invoicing - comms between support and finance seem to be a weak link in the chain. I was initially sent one of those Chinese links when I was paying off Gandalf, so I emailed support and asked them to set up a PayPal invoice instead (which included the balance and extra EMS shipping to OZ). That all went through ok. Hope that helps :)

It’s because you are in the UK.
If you want them you’ll have to pay FedEx shipping.

Yes I know all that, that’s what I’ve said.
I’m waiting for my shipping bill from asmus for FedEx shipping … which hasn’t come through, it’s just one hurdle after the next.

Thank you for the suggestion...
I wrote asmus again asking for a paypal invoice (as you suggested), and they finally replied asking for my paypal account so they could send me a paypal invoice! Helped a lot!

Can’t wait for Gandalf the White Crown Edition!! :rock
Guess it would be rude to ask for a Shadowfax to go with, but if I wanna be uber-picky - no company ever seems to put out a 1/6 Andalusian horse.

Not that I know enough about horses to really tell, but it'd be nice to have the right breed of horse.

Never mind, am sure that would be a few hundred dollars more. :monkey3

Are they supposed to release a new Boromir, was that confirmed or something?
Never confirmed, just something the fans are trying to push to hopefully get Asmus to make one.

The only confirmed projects are Lurtz, which sounds like it’s in development hell, Bilbo and Gollum. Crown Gandalf the White as well but that’s a bit away.

Haldir, Eowyn and Boromir seem to be the most desired figures that haven’t been announced so there’s been plenty of posts asking about them.

I've seen Asmus talking about Black Gate Aragorn here on the forums. Was it canceled?

Unless it would be a Boromir in Gondorian armor ("For Gondor!"), I don't understand the revisit of the character. He was already released not too long ago with both molded and rooted hair and the figure looked fantastic. But I definitely understand that the "Fellowship Nine" need to be revisited from time to time in order to bring in new collectors.

I think the idea is that Asmus has made a lot of strides forward and improvements since they first issued Ranger Aragorn and Fellowship Boromir. The new Legolas is night and day better than the first and shows how they've gotten better with time. I think a new Boromir would look better than the first, which was probably their best Fellowship release, but still had a lot of room for improvement.

When you say, Bilbo... What Bilbo figure is in the development? I assume LOTR trilogy one? That would be neat :)

Agreed with RandomHero. Any Boromir 2.0 would be great. I had the first one with rooted hair and I was not happy with the head sculpt.

I definitely welcome improved figures but in my opinion, I thought Boromir was an all around excellent release. I'm usually picky when it comes to head sculpts but I had no issues with Boromir's (unlike the different iterations of Aragorn, so far.) I found the outfit and gear fantastic. But I also passed on the Helm's Deep Legolas, as I was quite happy with the original release, and many have said that the HD version's sculpt is superior.
