I don’t think Bo-Katan is the same extremist she used to be. She still wants the throne, yes, but she became the leader of Mandalore peacefully by Sabine’s hand in Rebels. She’s matured a lot in her character arc. Something happened between her and Gideon on which she lost the Darksaber, so it’s understandable she has a chip on her shoulder. But I don’t think she’s the same extremist we saw in her first appearances. Not by a long shot.

This is SW. Horrible stuff WILL happen to them, because thats all this universe is, really: watching helplessly as your loved ones die right in front of you. We've proved that through a bunch of movies.
The epic and uplifting musical score and swarms of toys kind of glosses over the endless death, tragedy and massive genocides in The Wars.

I remember a girlfriend -- upon being introduced to Star Wars -- at one point said she was sick of the stories (by the time the ST rolled around) because it was literally endless war.

Well it is right in the title. :ROFLMAO:

But seriously, what a horrifying time and place to live in. Imagine being essentially stuck in WWII for 50 years or whatever.

Bo-Katan isn’t a hero or a good guy, she was an extremist and now she only cares about one thing; the throne of Mandalore. She’s out for herself and she doesn’t care what she has to do to achieve her goal, and she isn’t there to make friends.
I agree and her friends aren’t there like Ahoska and Sabine. She barely knows Din so why should she be opened up and warm towards him or Boba who she knows from his reputation as ruthless anyway? She’s single minded in the Mandalorian because she has one goal in mind and has strived to achieve it way before her path crossed with Din.

I did say was, they kinda moved on from the whole terrorist organisation thing pretty quickly.

She's still far from being a good person though.

I was more commenting about the extremism and “out for herself” comments. We don’t know the backstory of what happened between her and Gideon. She’s gotta have some reason to be angry and not immediately trusting of people.

I think we saw her move on from the “out for herself” mentality already. She seems more interested in uniting the clans and fighting the empire than being an authoritative ruler. But we’ll see as her story is explored more.

I don't think she has moved on from that, she was clearly pissed when she saw Din with the Darksaber because she knew she couldn't have it. She wants the Emprie gone sure, but only so that she can rule.

You're thinking of Game of Thrones.

More than half your list is because of those fools behind the ST.

I'm talking general vibe, GoT is full of dread in every episode.

No one was ******* safe in it.

DJ!

Disney's Sequel Trilogy universe, in which;
- the OT Rebellion suposedly accomplished nothing, whose first instinct is now to not fight, where Leia becomes the least inspiring, worst leader, Han Solo becomes so deadbeat lame, he commits suicide by brat, and Luke becomes an absolute failed hopeless piece of s*** coward, who's instinct is now to give up, instead of seeing hope in himself and others, to hide from friends, instead of running towards them, to be a slave to supposed Jedi books and dogma (he never followed), instead of forging and walking his own path as he once did.
And worst of all to now surrender to fear, when his most defining moment was to recognize it in himself in his father in his line, and NOT fear it, thus making it powerless to control his actions and choices.
All the lessons(see the cave), choices, and paths, that once defined Luke Skywalker, reversed to intentionally betray and fly in the face of everything Luke learned and was.

All once forward moving heroic characters turned into such regressed abject failed garbage by Disney, that their lousy DJ character, advice, attitude and "It's all a machine..." quote, and walking away with the cash, he ends up being the Disney Sequel's greatest symbol and only honest takeaway of where they steered the franchise. :lol

Of all the forgettable characters they created, DJ survives as the absolute most significant figure to embody the Disney Sequels.

DJ is the "greatest" character and symbol of where the Disney regime steered the franchise.
He should have a figure to represent that.
In his Imperial "POWER" uniform, with his symbolic bloodmoney, so he can stand atop everyone's reimagined and forgettable Sequel Trilogy characters, forever looking down at them with contempt.

The failed useless deadbeat, suicide by his own brat, Solo
Can't get anyone to follow her, weak, slappy, and least inspiring leader Leia.
Absolute coward, now slave to fear, slave to Jedi dogma, hiding from his path, his friends, and responsibility, betraying everything he learned and was, Jedi failure Luke.
Slapped, neutered and put in his place Poe
Checked, no game, won't lead anyone to freedom, no purpose Finn,...
...except to tender, cattle-prod get my way, Chihuahuahorse liberating, Rose.
And, faultless, supreme Rey.

Of all the forgettable recessive, derivative characters the Disney story group put out, the only unique character worthy of respect, their definitive regime symbol, is Deejay!

They do have parallels. GoT is just more overt about it.

We dont have a SW red wedding, for instance. But anakin losing 90% of his dermal surface as well as his limbs and (most likely) his external genitalia is bad enough in its own way. Anakin is literally lying in lava, screaming. How that got a PG rating is beyond me.

Need I mention what happened to Jango right in front of his little son and the fact that the clones were literal CHILD SOLDIERS. Oh we got plenty of dark stuff to go around.

Disney committed a Red Wedding on the both the PT and OT and the characters with their trilogy.

What about 'heroic' 'epic' deaths?

GM Tarkin
Mace Windu
Jabba
Wickets buddy
Porkins
Captain phasma
Rose Tico's sister whatshername?...what ever...
Jyn Erso...

And the most epic death...

The namesake of the 'Holdo-maneuver' Admiral Purple Hair!!!
