Just received the Deluxe. He looks so grey and bland compared to the original.

The Grogus are really good though, which is lucky as they're the main figures in the set. lol

He looks better with the light hitting his gunmetal armour, but I still prefer the more rustic and varied appearance of the original.

The Grogus turned out better than I expected, but it's annoying that the pram doesn't 'float' level. The rod goes into the base at an angle so the pram leans away from Mando. I only noticed today that it was also like this in the promo photo.

It offends my OCD, just like the feet on Hot Toys' Artoo not standing flat.

So, after taking the photo I cut a piece of the cardboard box he was delivered in and slid it under the outer edge of the pram base.

He now floats on the level. :yess:

(Placing the camtono in front of it conceals the cure).

If they reveal one with a sculpt I will probably get that too then I can have OG, Shiny and Shiny with no helmet.

I'm up for that...I feel like I need at least one Pascal sculpt with the display.

Can only hope HT is busy trying to get that right at the moment, vs. churning out more quick Trooper figs.:pfft:

Might pop more on the shelf if the undersuit is tinted to more of a chocolate brown, tho don't know if I will try overdyeing.:frank

Mine has shipped, will be glad to get him in hand.:impatient:

That?s so strange that they made the Pram sit crooked like that. I wonder why.

probably a reused base part from something else at some point and it was easier to produce as is than to adjust it so the rod would goin straight

probably to lazy to do a rod with a kink in it either ( or cost a few cents too much )to make it level that way.

Another thing that's strange is the flight stand grabber. There's one logical place for it, which is around his waist below the edge of the armour, but the jet pack won't sit correctly on his back because trigger on the grabber gets in the way.

Maybe there's a solution, maybe his armour is supposed to be moved higher up. I didn't check for that.

If they release yet another Din Djarin before they do Cara or Bo-Katan, I may scream. :lol

I won't hold my breath for Fennec or the Armorer, but those would be very nice to have as well. The Armorer especially would be good, as she doesn't require a head sculpt so she might be easier to get production approval for.

Is the name plate removable from the base? Im hoping to pick one up for my spare Sandies. Thanks in advance.

You could always heat up the rod on the pram at the base where it goes in the sand and bend it so it sits straight.

Your pole is upside down, it happen to mine

Welp, looks like we can kiss the chance of a Cara figure goodbye.

God damn it, Gina... :pfft:

Easy recast (maybe with someone who can really act lol)

I'm hoping to have this set sometime next week. Not sure if i'm going to display both versions or mix everything into one

Thanks, I'll try that.Though I did check before to see if was curved or different on either end by laying it flat, and it just looked like a straight rod.

EDIT:

I tested it again using both ends and it's always the same. The hole in the base is at an angle that holds the rod away from Mando.

I'll stick with the cardboard solution as it works perfectly!

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but where does the vibroblade go on the figure? I?m too lazy to rewatch the Mudhorn Episode to see where he pulls it out from.

The instructions show it going into the side of the right boot.

I tried but was afraid it would snap. The instructions even warn about being careful not to poke a hole in the cloth.

Thanks! I never read the instructions. [emoji23]. I tried putting it in, and it only went halfway in.
It feels like it wasn?t really meant to go in the boot, or maybe I?m just doing it wrong. I?ll probably just leave it in the box.

Now would be a great time for a third party company to produce a Cara Dune figure. They?d make a killing.
