Yeah man I love the figure too. I just wish it never had those problems. I was good for so long...but hopefully a couple of coats of Mod Podge will be good. My cracks are minimal

I sold mine because the tropical weather here would kill the dome in no time. It's a shame too, since I absolutely love it.

i passed by cash converters....
and walllaaaah, there's ed209 smudged tacky, dome in good condition.

price 350 AUD....LOLLLLz

You tube has tutorials...basically inserting and twisting a large slotted screwdriver or similar at the connection point pops it right off. Just be careful of collateral damage...

Phew! - Finally had a chance to finish this repaint, been doing it on/off, hope you guys like the results! :)

Did you use the Tamiya weathering kit?

hi guys bought a new ed209 in unopened box. The seller has checked that there are no cracks in the rubber. but my question is ... today after so many years that this figure was launched. Are figures left intact and free of cracks today? or am I doomed to suffer the damage too?

Mine isn?t free of cracks, but with help of car rubber care product "Liqui Moly" it still looks very good.

I bought it immediately upon release
Displayed it since day 1
No cracks at all

I have used the silicon grease, but I can’t say for certain that it did anything
