It seems they're recycling Chirrut's deluxe diorama base for this one.

Yeah, looks terrific there.

I do think this one is a little easier to deliver as a prod fig than Chewy because this is really more a hard plastic face sculpt ringed by fur whereas Chewy had the fat moustache and cheeks all as fur. This has a tiny moustache that isn't as "shaped" as Chewy and ringed fur around a hard plastic face is doable even on cheaper figs.

Yeah I guess the likeness wouldn't be nearly as dependent on the fur being shaped in the right way. It pretty much just sticks right out on this guy.

I like that they add the Stormtrooper helmet. That's a nice little accessory.

Thanks for the additional pics. He's looking pretty good. Am sure there will be a bit of futzing to improve the fur. Especially if they use ask that hairspray like they did with the first (and still the best) Chewie.

Figure looks amazing here. I just wonder if this is something they could duplicate for production, since we all remember how great the Chewie proto looked compared to the final figure....

I seem to remember them as brown. But I’m sure HT have looked at movie footage.

Never planned on getting RotJ Leia.....but now she’s almost a must have with this guy.

I also think he’ll go for the same price as Yoda because of the real fur. But a 2 pack would be nice.

Yes Wicket made the whole thing worthwhile. The tricky thing is to make his face hair work as well as the proto - we know that from Chewie.

If it looks like the proto I don't give a **** what it costs. I just hope this and Leia go up for preorder soon so something can be salvaged from this debacle of a Con.

If im getting this, it means I would probably end up PO Endor Luke too, and apparently no Endor Leia to accompany the former two would be just ridiculous.
