How does the wind ever get in here?
I got into high-end collecting (or what I thought was high-end collecting) in 2009 and spent the following few years playing catch-up, cycling through pieces and getting a feel for the hobby. At this moment, my collection is quite small and I have none of the pieces I started out with. But I'm glad to have gotten past grails out of my system before prices got too hectic. From here on out, one can't afford not to be selective.
It's getting stale and prices are out of control now. Sometimes I think it'd be better to just bow out of the hobby completely.

The over saturation kills it more then anything I think.
We use to all celebrate getting a piece together.. But now its always on to the next new piece. Threads use to go on and on when a new piece came out. Now there is hardly a peep.. Why talk about the new Wolverine statue when there are three newer ones coming out.
