guys probably know this, but in my experience with foam board, before painting it or coating it in plaster or stucco, if you coat both sides with water/glue mix first it will prevent a little warping.

I believe that's what they call "Famous last words"

Another one bites the dust! :chew:emperor Dance Wookie, dance!

I know, but with everything else I have going on, my bank account is saying No.....NO.....NOOOOO!!!!

As long as my wife isnt saying no, I may give it a go.

Hi Guys

quick question, I know this has been covered before, but just wanted to check...

I have a Hasbro Dooku coming from eBay in a day or two and was going to put the outfit and head on a buck. (I have a spare ANH Han body since I bashed a TT version). What's the safest way to remove the existing Sideshow head?

I don't want to damage it, I believe holding the head in a cup of boiling water is the way to go, and after a minute or two just firmly pulling it off (No smutty comments please Dorgs)

Any advice/options are much appreciated!

DG

LOL no comment... but to get the ss head off... boil the kettle and hold the head over it... hold the button on the kettle down to keep it boiling. The plastic is quite thick so it can take a while.
:)

Thanks blokes.

I will as always furnish you with pictorial evidence of my inept fumblings in a darkened room once completed.

Ooooh! What ya gonna do? What ya gonna do?

Just won 3 Battle Droids on Da'Bay, looking forward to chopping them!

Right I am gonna do a body swap... well Ive done that... then I am gonna chop the leg armour down... ow I have done that.

Right.... so body swap for afro american tt slim... did not work. The calf is slighty thicker wich causes complications... So back to the slim TT. Cut armour down, bent chest all that jazz... Does it look any better.... I know what I think.

look at the other pic and the untampered SS is in the middle.

Gonna post the other pics on the Dewbacks and Sandie thread........ :)

Mark, is it just the lower leg armor your cutting? I couldn't bring myself to chop something that cost so much cash. I've just been using self-adhesive backed foam in the leg armor. Really happy with the results.

Yep the leg and thigh.. I will post pics of the original and the chopped one when I get another one. I will also dod a step by step guide...

Can not wait to see yours in the Docking Bay!!
