I've had the "which way's the head facing?" prob too... Tried to mold/cast a very suckish Arnie sculpt I made from scratch, ended up cutting down the right side of the head right through his ear instead of the back...

Plaster has so many problems... save up, get some silicone and use it to mold the piece! Many less bubbles, and if you're lucky you don't have to cut it all the way through, just cut the back and you can pop the original or castings right out! Much better IMO...

I'm currently in the process of trying to find time to finish the mold of my lolly-pop head clone helmet, then I'm going to try to make push molds of armor pieces on my Medi Commander (ie belt, shoes, etc, not easy stuff like chestplate and stuff, still making that from McDonalds cups and super-glue! :lol)

Will post updates on my custom 1/6 clone thread soon, if anyone's interested...

Chop Chop time!!!!!

Right now I really Stormie Luke but don't / can;t afford SS or find a Luke Stormie head sculpt :(

But I did manage to get a Tatooine Luke head.

Now My only issue withe the Luke head is the think bulky neck that restricts posing!

So Chop chop....

When I get a spare TT body I am gonna chop luke down to size too :)

So I started making some Star Wars related Scenery - See 1:6 Figure Environments - Thread...

...and my little girl was very unimpressed with my Blast Doors, she wanted a Rocket (No Barbie Houses in our place!) Not one to disappoint a budding Sci Fi fan, I set to work! Not finished yet as we will need to paint it together, if it survives that, then I'm better at this lark than I thought! See what you think...

Always start with a plan!

Cheers buddy, their just Hasbro 3.75" figures. I used to collect them before I got into 1:6 scale. Got hundreds of the buggers laying around.

The wonder material of the moment... Foam Core Board! LOL I've got so much of the stuff I'm contemplating making some chairs a new bathroom suite and possibly a car from it.

WOW thanks Prog, they look brilliant!

Oh Christmas is coming, the foambords very flat, please put a cutting tool in Dartgothikus' sack...:joy
