Yes it is! I got spoiled by having two massive compendiums to go through, and then a couple of TPB's and single issues before I got caught up to current with the comics. And then shortly after that, All Out War started, so they were coming out every two weeks or so. Now being all caught up and having to wait a month between issues is a killer! At least Fear the Walking Dead starts next week and when that's done the original show. Those will help with the month to month comic withdrawals
But I do get the frustration with the slower comic issues. But I think when these are read in a compendium, those slower bits are needed to tell a better story. Otherwise it would feel like it was no big deal to lose a bunch of people, just straight to war. So in the month-to-month story telling, its not as enjoyable, but once the story is finished, I think those moments would not only make sense but really be needed. I guess the show is the same way. There is usually a slower episode right after an amazing episode.
