So is this show like the biggest letdown for Hot Toys ever or what?

No Star Wars, no Hulk, no 1/4 scale Avengers or Dark Knight. What gives?

Probably saving their good stuff for the Asian equivalent of sdcc, can't remember what it's called.

As others have said, it really wouldn't make sense to show off all the goodies in San Diego, when their big show is only a little over a week away. It seems like it would also serve to add more stress to the situation (I.e. having to worry about if the items will be back in time for the show/ if they'll all arrive in one piece). I think that Ani-Com's going to be pretty bid for HT this year...

The Doom LSF has to be my favourite piece out of the bunch. Sideshow really nailed it. Also surprised by how much I liked the SSC DC 1:6 figures. I second the poster who wondered why SSC is not doing Marvel characters at this scale. Would love a 1:6 Doom, dammit!

A bit disappointed in Sideshow's and Hot Toys SW 1:6, though. Was expecting that we'd see the Probe Droid and maybe landspeeder, plus an HT Solo.
