So him being stronger is ambushing a biker gang facing the other way and shooting them in their backs some strength lol

Mando takes on his foes HEAD ON!
Have to agree, he should have hovered Slave-1 in front of them, then jetpack dropped out, so they all get a good look who is coming at them, face forward charging at them flying, grappling, torching, and shooting the living hell out of them. (leaving one to tell the tale)
Yeah shooting from in the ship from the back is easy (and cheaper to film), yet it betrays the character.

Their vision of Fett is him chasing Robot-Ratso-Rizzo down a drain vent.

One scene I'd love to imagine, is Fetts rocket one day fail to launch. So he just pulls it out of his pack by hand, and just drives it into somebodies skull. And flies off as it explodes. :wink1:

But we're @ Disney where everything is phoned in.

This is awful..just very very bad. So disappointed with this. After Mando hyping up star wars again this has brought me back to the Last Jedi.
TLJ is a masterpiece compared to this.

Luke was never made into an idiot and his arc completed without any weakness or cowardice on his part contrary to what everyone other than me, khev and ajp believe lol

I dont know...I'm actually willing these damn shows to end. Its awful. It's worse than a Saturday morning cartoon. And he might as well put the hat in the bin. His teeth would make for fine flash lights.
Hopefully John Cena make me me forget his.

Well he does seem to go out of his way to feed animals at every opportunity these days, including himself, lol.

His motivation for that scene was just incredibly bizarre. He forgot that he was wearing his armor when he climbed out of the sand? Or he assumed that it was taken off and just rolled down into the mouth where it *wasn't* swallowed? And if he did think that his armor was inexplicably just hanging out 10 feet down its throat why wouldn't he just kill it *before* doing his inspection? :cuckoo:

I am kind of looking forward to all the "neutral" crime factions having a change of heart while watching Fett's heroism against the Pykes and joining the fray at the end, even if they have telegraphed it from a mile away, lol.

Though I was hoping that Fett was going to surprise them all at dinner by revealing that he'd modified the trap door so that the entire grate collapsed. I was picturing this awesome scene of them mouthing off to him and then the whole floor, table and all, drops away leaving just him and Fennec sitting on the edge while the Rancor goes to town on the whole lot of them.

I liked the final scene with Boba and Fennec on the balcony, with the suns almost gone down, and the headlamps of the departing speeders far below. It was quite evocative.
Yes, an important scene where Fennec teaches Boba the concept of money and what it can buy.

Behold fools my scary Rancor!!

Watch as he rattles his cage then goes back into his cave to sleep….sigh

I thought it was a pretty solid episode for the most part and definitely the best so far. I agree that it had problems but The Mandolorian and the OT had plenty of suspend belief moments as well. If you can have tractor beams which deal with gravitational pull, why not some sort of anti-gravity in regards to what ships are capable of in the SW universe?
I was a little confused about Fett looking for his armor in the Sarlacc Pit at first but it was a very traumatic experience and he was just going on instinct and adrenaline to escape. He then blacked out and very well could have forgotten I suppose.
The main thing that I didn't like in this episode was the Mod Parlor scene. (1) I thought the music was awful and didn't fit Star Wars at all. (2) I'm all for diversity but the way it was shoe-horned into this scene seemed a bit heavy handed, like they were trying to put a check mark in every box imo. Not really the shows fault as much as having to appease the whole cancel culture.
I thought the rest of the episode was very good other than the kitchen chase scene in Jabba's Palace being a bit goofy. Seeing Slave-1 take out the Nikto Sand Rider gang was pretty bad-ass as well as the Black Krrsantan bar brawl. It was also cool seeing that the Rancor is getting stronger and ready for action.

I had no problem with how Fett handled them, it was the best way to make sure that he took every one of them out. If he would have flown straight at them they would have had all the time in the world to split up into ten different directions. Besides that, they had no honor to begin with and didn't deserve to die honorably.

I agree about the honor part but there is also the part about true bad ass’s fighting like the true warriors that they are….

Well was in ESB you know 42 years ago :gah:

I felt bad for the Trandoshan.

He did nothing wrong and ended up getting his armed ripped off. If he survives, which is unlikely, he'll live the rest of his miserable life with a fake arm.

And why? For what?

They were just regular dudes at a casino. It looked like they were wearing the Star Wars equivalent of Members Only jackets or track suits. Probably a bachelor party or something. So they were drinking, having fun, winning some money, got excited, and then a violent criminal basically murdered him cause he's racist against their kind. It was a "hate crime."

This wasn't even like Obi Wan and Walrus Man. This guy didn't even have a gun and was literally minding his own business.

Are we supposed to LIKE Black Kerstan? He's an fine fellow. He didn't need to do that.

Man. This show is really sending a lot of mixed messages.

Also, the guy with dreads and facial piercings was the single most "immersion breaking" moment in Star Wars since the little fat girl with braces in Episode One.
