Thanks, Tali. Actually, I used the Endor Leia head sculpt, and the ACPlay head to make it. I took off the hair piece that allows you to put on the Endor helmet, and was surprised to see that the Endor head is a perfect setup for making a Slave Leia with little trouble.






Then I cut off the bun with the decorative hair pieces and the braid off the ACPlay head sculpt. Interestingly, the hair color is a perfect match for the HT head. I had to use a Dremel and A fine bit to hollow that piece out a bit at a time (sorry, I didn’t take pictures of how the hollowing process looked).





I did actually glue that piece onto the head sculpt using Gorilla Glue, so it’s not coming off. I had to fill in sections near the bottom, and then painted the the putty. The hair color is super dark, black with just a touch of brown — unlike what Carrie’s hair color actually was.







Sorry, I don’t have access to the photos after I painted the filled in gaps at the moment, but you get the idea. (By the way, I have the Leia/Wicket two-pack on PO from Timewalker, so I’ll still have that figure.

Thanks, fellas. I was determined to have a proper Slave Leia in this setup, that’s all. Now if I could find the appropriate TBLeague body that would color match, was the appropriate height, and didn’t have such giant boobs.

It’s frustrating, isn’t it. I wonder if they got pressure from HT to get rid of their original suntan (which matched HT’s usual over-dark skin tones), since their current suntan is much lighter. They have bodies that are smaller, pretty close to Carrie’s petite size, but they still haven’t done much about the massive bust. I see Jiaou Doll, which is what this Leia is, has a new body with a smaller frame and smaller bust size; I’m tempted to get one to see if it would work. I also notice that if you have the old Mattel/Hasbro (can’t remember which) Slave Leia (single or with R2), that the bra top actually looks more accurate for a smaller bust size.

Yes, it is.
I often wish TBLeague had a Facebook page or had some way of receiving requests. There are so many characters that need the more accurate proportions. A fan even Facebook shared with Pam Rose (she portrayed Leesub Sirln) my custom "Weird girl." Pam Rose commented about the body proportions and I had to apologize because of the limited 1/6 scale body options.

More skin tone options would be good too. I've read that people have success with pastels, but I have not.

I haven’t had much luck with the pastels, either. But I’ve also seen a reasonable job done with Rit-Dye.

Here's a couple more pics. I added the Sideshow Mythos Fett & Tusken Raider to the mix. (the photos never seem to capture the actual dark, and in some places stark, lighting of the dio as it appears to the naked eye, so they are much brighter than reality).
