Anyone else think that Tech using his real name might come back to bite the squad? He might appear or be mentioned on some backwater sports-related holovid channel, and what if the Empire finds out...? That could have negative consequences.

No one going to complain about how perfect, not at all a Mary Sue, Tech used his perfect strategy to out race robots with his perfect reflexes? Nobody? Jedi like skills for Clones are ok now?

But unlike that hybrid mutt Rey, Tech actually IS special and enhanced. He has shown us his enhanced capabilities before, therefore his actions in this episode do not lack precedent. Clones are an elite class in general, and Tech is a specialist. [as are all commandos, but I digress.]

Given the droids in question, I am not surprised Tech came out ahead. They didnt strike me as all that, in fact to the contrary.

Mixed feelings of latest episode. It's nice to see something, to me, completely different for once.

But there is one thing that annoys me. Why does every episode have to be its own story? Why can't we have arcs and stories, like this episode for example, spanning at least three episodes? It would have been nice!

I haven't bothered to watch this week's episode. Sounds like another "adventure of the week" episode. Filoni really seems to love that structure.
It's quite old fashioned really. Have an over arching story but only dedicate a few episodes to it. Have most episodes be adventure of the week.

It is. Today we see Filoni's version of Indiana Jones in Space!

Raid an old alien temple or something?
Do they have the Empire standing in for the Nazis?
I'll get around to watching it eventually, just not in a rush.

This format that Filoni favours so much used to be the norm, so many shows used it. Overarching story progression at the start of the season, big one with cliff hanger at the end of season, maybe one in the middle, then a dozen or more adventure of the week episodes.
X-Files, Stargate, Farscape etc etc etc.

I think the thing is, I'm not finding Filoni's adventure of the week episodes to be very interesting. They just don't engage me very much. It's the same for all of his shows, Mandalorian included. The best episodes are those that progress the story, the ones where the hero's visit somewhere and have an adventure or a little stand alone story, are usually pretty meh in my opinion.

Yeah another adventure of the week episode that probably just serves to introduce us to Phee Genoa.

Obviously this self-proclaimed "pirate" needs to take lessons from another adventurer who has a lot more experience with this stuff: Doctor Aphra. And what does Aphra say? In like situations.....

NEVER EVER EVER ACTUALLY TOUCH THE SHINY/SPARKLY/POINTY THING because the instant you do, things go south. In fact you may instantly be killed.

Dr. Jones could tell you that too.

Otherwise: I am living for "dont give me any of your bull****" Hunter and Echo.

Our boys need an actual payday. Badly.

Interesting mech. Puts me very much in mind of Wayne Barlowe's work.

Wanda Sykes, Amy Sedaris, Gina Caramo, and Dre Jr are all SW actors that take me out of SW because they just don’t gel.

^^^Add Moses Ingram to that list - and heck, they built a whole series around her. Oh wait. That was the Kenobi series...the one where the lead was a guest on his own show :(

I'm in no hurry to watch this week either. Last week was such a low after the previous week. And now another Filoni filler with annoying "celebrity" cameo? Doesn't bode well.

I am marking time until they tell us more about Cross and maybe Cody. And they will, just not yet.

I feel like we're stuck in a bit of a rut, and from Echo and Hunter's demeanor, they're chafing at the bit a little, too. Cid is small potatoes, we should move on from her and her lowball tasks that almost succeed in getting everyone killed, but not much else. Our boys are not utilizing their skills much, and they're not getting paid much. They've been in one place far too long. Its time to go.

Watched the latest one. Should have skipped it. Another meh one.
Filoni somehow manages to avoid any of the interesting stuff happening in this time period (with the exception of 1 episode so far) and instead focuses on yet another adventure of the week. This time a very dull treasure hunt episode.
As another person posted, introducing a new character who is somehow both bland  and annoying. Hunter should have shot her.
I get Filoni likes this structure for his series and that this season will eventually return to the overarching story, but these adventure of the week episodes are a slog to get through. Who knows, maybe next week, Rex will show up and we'll get something of substance.
Their armour repaints are growing on me though. Think I still prefer their original looks, but yeah, they look alright.
Who's going to collect the second colourful version of the BB 😁
