The fact that Obi-Wan never even realized that that droid was r2d2 always irritated me. You would think one of the wisest, most powerful jedi, would have the memory to remember a machine that has saved their lives numerous times. In fact, as open-minded and culturally aware as he is (as far as knowing other languages, being on good terms with different species) you would think he would be a bit more favorable to a droid who CLEARLY is not just a machine.

Also always got me mad that Vader never recognized Threepio. He built the damn thing.

Goes deeper than that. Nobody on the Death Star realized a Stormtrooper was almost a foot shorter than he should've been in Star Wars? Despite being the center of attention escorting a Wookie? Luke's extremely fast training on Dagobah in Empire where Yoda tells him his training is not complete (and when he returns in Jedi, Yoda tells him his training is completed :cuckoo:). And overall, the fact that Stormtroopers wear armor that not only inhibits vision and movement, but doesn't protect them from blasters or itty bitty pebbles flung by Ewoks.

Fact is, finding redundant ____ to whine about in the Clone Wars series, but being an apologist for redundant ____ in the films is silly. :huh

Well, if you think there's nothing good about the past 80 or so episodes AND a movie, I guess that should be the end of the discussion there and you should be done in this thread, right? And that goes for the other few people who hate the show so much but are always in here complaining about the same redundant things.

:peace

The OT makes perfect sense in every way. You are wrong. Please apologize.

Nope, I can keep talking, especially since there's more episodes coming. Might have a chance of a good episode (but I doubt it)

You definitely can, but it'd just be nice if people could keep the topic on what they don't like about the actual current episodes instead of the same dead horse topics that gets discussed in all the other SW threads like what Nam is saying.

man, when i was wee one, all i had was the animated "Droids" and "Ewoks"...

many don't realize how good they have it with this current series.

While the episodes where they are on that weird world with the Father, Daughter and Son of the force were strange, I enjoyed watching the Son, whom I thought was a very cool, powerful and charismatic villain. Also good to see adult Ashoka, a glimpse of Vader, Shmi, and of course, Qui-Gonn.

:hi5: To add to that Sam witwer's voice acting was just phenomenal as the Son. I hope he makes a reappearance or something

He (Sam Witwer) will. Probably not as The Son though. He was rumored to be Darth Maul's voice, but then in a response to the rumor he said he is voicing a character (a major character apparently) but as far as he was told, the character doesn't appear until season 5. Which can technically still be Maul. Maybe Witwer is misinformed since Maul doesn't appear until the spring. Maybe Filoni and Co. will pull a fast one on us and have Maul briefly show up in like the last episode of season 4 and then have Witwer voice him in Season 5. Either way though Witwer is returning.

I don't know who Sam Witwer is. Did he voice Maul in TPM? "At last we will have revenge..."

force unleashed starkiller is based on his appearance and he voiced the character. The game wasnt well-received, but his voice acting is just phenomenal

Off topic but I'd just like to say that Starkiller looks exactly like...whats his face from Smallville. The guy who turns into the big scary doom thing and kills Billy.. Was it Jason? :dunno
