Oh my goodness. The BTS ones are so cool to see. These pictures are absolutely ridiculous.

I couldn't find my own file for this Bossk image to accompany the attached BTS image from the shoot, so I had to swipe it from Sideshow. But I thought you'd all get a kick out of what I used to hold up that vine in the foreground.

As a warmup for a video and photo shoot for the Star Ace Katniss Everdeen figure, I decided to finally open my sealed Hot Toys AoU Hawkeye. Such a great figure. I know that the coat didn't make it the most popular of the Hawkeye figures produced, but I kind of dig the nostalgic gesture.

This figure took some heat in its thread over likeness issues. Not sure why. Looks like J-Law to me.

Although I have to admit, while I was researching her face, I did notice that her look seems to change quite a bit from film to film, and even from shot to shot in some cases. Maybe she's like Harrison Ford, and she's really difficult to dial in an expression that everyone can relate to. I dunno...

It's a good figure, though.

It's a mixture of flour and backing soda, with some instant potato flakes thrown in.

Oh, and the flying snow was just some excess that was on top of the big rock. I'd puff some of it off while firing the camera.

I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. Now that I looked again, great detail that adds to the overall feeling.

My Silver Surfer figure bumped into a wall, and the right Power Cosmic effect and fingers snapped off in two places. After reassembling them this morning, I decided to put him into the studio for the first time. This is what happened.
