Just wanted to share a couple of (crappy) pics of my just-finished Romans.

First off good ole' Maximus.

Same recipe as everybody else, the ebay head sculpt and a Hot Toys TT clone body. I'm still not entirely satisfied, but this head sculpt is miles better than the original it came with. Maybe a tad small.

Next is my long in the making Quintus Dias from Centurion.

I wrote down the recipe in some other thread, but here it is again:

- DID WWI Muller head sculpt.
- TT knock off body.
- ACI General pants.
- Ignite tunic.
- DML Alexander boots (repainted).
- ACI Gladiator chain mail (long with sleeves).
- KP Legionary leather vest.
- ACI Centurion chain mail.
- KP gladius, belts and harness with decorations.
- DML grey scarf.
- ACI Legionary cloak.
- Ignite helmet.

The only thing I'm still missing is a pair of adequate vambrances and maybe a better helmet.

Sorry for the crappy pics, I'll try to get some better pics this week end.

Thanks guys!
I really enjoyed putting that Centurion figure together, not to mention the fact that it took about a year to get all the bits and pieces together...

Looks great abake, nice job man.

I finally got my hands on Pangaea's Gladiator boots (big thanks to SmallStudios!)and put them on the General, and I have to say those boots are a small work of art.
While not quite perfect yet (the color is wrong), they do look a lot better on the figure. I will have to find a way of making them look brown, and change the laces, as well as stuffing some cotton here and there, but I'm really happy.

I'll try to post pics this week end.

Very kind from you crediting me for this :)
Your result is looking very beautiful and love to see the progress of it. i'm still in love with this figure, and i'm sure you're aswell :D

congrats buddy for it, it's worth every cent! :)

hey there,
what body type are you using here? i think hs is repainted, isnt it?

Yeah, the shoulder pads were tough for me as well, but only because the armour itself was misaligned. I had to glue the armour together and then the should pads fit perfectly.
The cape is tied around the back, not around the neck.

Finally assembled him! ACI's instructions were horrible. It's better to put on the shoulder pads before attaching the plates to his body. I have a custom headsculpt too and really like how he turned out.

Has anyone here dyed his red tunic? Its the one thing that bothers me most. I've never dyed anything before, does anyone have any suggestions?
